At Apud Jatum I ate the best pizza in the province of Palermo and probably in all of Sicily. The dough is wonderful I don't know how they managed to create a soft and crunchy dough at the same time with a delicious edge. All the ingredients are top quality and nothing is left to chance. Prices are average (lower than average when compared to quality). The staff is friendly and even smiling. The search for a couple of pizzas linked to seasonality is notable. At the end of the meal, included in the price, a dessert created with fried pizza dough and topped with melted chocolate. The only downside is the place where it is located. The street and the exterior are not up to the standard of the place. Well done to the owner though.

I travel the world eating pizzas, and I must say, this restaurant did not disappoint. I was slightly hesitant, given they are no longer in the top 100 pizza places in the country (50 Top Pizza - Italy), but the hype was fully justified. You will not find a neapolitan pizza, the dough is completely different. So if that's what you are looking for, perhaps avoid this place - or not, you might be in for a treat. Different flour, probably no biga starter, and I would say they used a very strong flour (type 1 or semolina). Nevertheless, the final result is excellent. Very good choice of ingredients and combinations. The dough was cooked to perfection, resulting in a fragrant "cornicione" (crust), with a crunchy outer layer, yet soft and delicate in the middle. The atmosphere is great, the staff is very kind and knowledgable, and surely there is a good attention to details. These people really know their stuff, and I'm looking forward to visit them again. 5 stars.

Excellent pizza and welcoming place

The first time I was there for lunch, years ago.... A few days ago as a pizzeria, in the evening. Exceptional on both occasions!

Restaurant in the mountains, quite easy to get there from the SS Palermo-Sciacca. Family atmosphere, welcoming, with excellent service. Delicious dishes, from starters to first courses and second courses. Very creative recipes, prepared with skill and top-notch ingredients. Well done!
