Ristorante Pizzeria Angus In Castello di cisterna

13/08/2024: We went to the farmhouse for dinner, a really nice place with a fantastic view and well looked after, there was a lot of green space and it was cooler than the restaurants further down the hill. Truly exceptional food, tasty dishes that also pleased the children, from appetizers to first courses to meat, even the side dishes with their very good garden products. Pleasant atmosphere and helpful, friendly service. They also have a very useful shuttle service to reach them.

13/08/2024: 5 stars for these reasons: - they will pick you up with the shuttle to avoid the bump of the climb (if you are on foot) - poor but very genuine cuisine, made the most of by the skill of their chefs. Nothing particularly sophisticated but every dish was the bomb: the parmigiana was exquisite, the peppers were perfect. - their crocchè was sensational, fried as God commands (so it is not at all greasy and the breading is very crunchy). They could have offered us bitters as the icing on the cake but this doesn't detract from a good 10
