Ristorante Pizzeria Alla Tessitura In Udine

This is my third visit to this place, and I can safely say it's a good pizza restaurant on the outskirts of Udine's city center with excellent prices. The place is simple and clean, with well-maintained 1990s decor. The food is good, and the pizza and desserts are delicious. Service is average, with the staff always helpful. Drinks are average, and the beer is also good. The outdoor parking lot in front of the building isn't very large, but you can also park near the restaurant. Worth a try.

Grilled fish 🐟, everything at the highest level, highly recommended

For a first experience, I have to say I was completely satisfied. We tried three different main courses (fried calamari, mixed grill, Wiener schnitzel, and a side of French fries and mixed vegetables), all of which were excellent. Looking at the other tables, the pizzas also looked extremely inviting. The portions aren't large, but you absolutely won't leave the place feeling hungry. For dessert, we tried the tiramisu: not the best I've ever had, but nothing to complain about, except, again, the portion, which I'd rather have a bit more. The staff was very courteous, friendly, and attentive. They forgot my coffee, but nothing too serious; I would have just asked for it again. In any case, it was NOT added to my bill. I can't comment on wines, beers, and spirits in general, as I'm a teetotaler.

I've been going here since I was 16, and it's always a pleasure to eat here: I almost feel like I'm coming home. Smiling and friendly staff, good food, a welcoming atmosphere. And fair prices! 👍

Good pizza, very varied menu. A shame about the crust and toppings being a bit burnt, but overall enjoyable, recommended.
