I was in the area for work, excellent business lunch and quick.

Last night we went to dinner for the first time at,, Il covo della polastra. ". Everyone spoke highly of this restaurant....in fact they managed to pass the word on to us. It's a place where you feel at ease thanks to the professional and very nice staff where the owner looks after us in every little detail.... but above all in the air you feel that which makes you feel familiar. It's a beautiful environment, a beautiful terrace, but above all you eat very well there. We took the fish menu. Everything was delicious. The waiting times were right, the quality of the fish was excellent but above all the preparation was perfect. The prices were very fair. What are you waiting for?? Haven't you booked yet? Go ahead, you won't be disappointed.

I went to dinner with my wife and we took the fish menu... I must say it was simply exquisite! The service was good and the hostess is a very kind and helpful person. I highly recommend it

Who really wants something special must stop here...if there were more stars I would give them...the waiters deserve a thousand per thousand...thanks for everything 💕

My nephew's communion we had a great time, excellent fish lunch especially the tortelli 🤤 very careful also for lactose intolerance.

We decided to go there with my group of 15 people for lunch on this beautiful Sunday and we chose a menu of both meat and fish. I found it good, the seafood appetizer and the Tura peach risotto, the fish ravioli and above all the fish patties, the end of the world, very hot dishes and especially the fried food with vegetables then the dessert, plenty of water and wine, staff, welcoming and kind and professional above all very fast I will be back

We had dinner here and ordered the fish menu for €30. All very good, fairly quick service even though the place was full. Very good, I recommend it Book early because it's in high demand...

Going to the chick's den is always safe. Excellent food, really reasonable prices which are now very difficult to find around. Variety of dishes both typical of Lucca and beyond, and attentive to any customer request. Excellent hostess who welcomes you and really makes you feel at home with the family. It's the restaurant I take everyone to whenever someone from out of town joins me. What to say?!? Once you've tried it, you'll definitely come back! Highly recommended
