Ristorante Pizzeria Al Covo In Capannori

I don't want to be wrong, but the quality of the dishes seems to have dropped since the old Pollastri moved from Segromigno Monte to Lappato. Furthermore, the service doesn't seem to be as attentive anymore, since on Saturday evening, we were placed in an internal room, when everyone else was seated outside and once dinner was finished, we were abandoned for more than 20 minutes, before getting up and asking the waitress to kindly bring us the dessert menu. In the old place I used to eat risotto alla pescatore, one of my favorite dishes, but it's a shame that since they moved, it's no longer possible to order risotto for just one person (which isn't specified on the menu), a choice that I find absurd, since by doing so, you force people to order different dishes that they might not like at that moment. I don't want to be argumentative, but when I go to dinner I would at least like to be able to order what I want since I'm paying. Last time I opted for spaghetti with clams, which I found to be flavorless and very dry, almost dry. The island-style sea bream was good, I must say, and the baked vegetables were delicious. It's a shame about the risotto and the lackluster service. The price is reasonable.

Last night we went to dinner at "Covo della Pollastra" for our first time. Everyone spoke highly of this restaurant...in fact, they managed to spread the word. It's a place where you feel at ease thanks to the professional and very friendly staff, where the owner pays attention to every little detail...but above all, you feel that family feeling in the air. It's a beautiful setting, a lovely terrace, but above all, the food there is very good. We had the fish menu. Everything was delicious. The waiting times were just right, the quality of the fish was excellent, and the preparation was perfect. The prices were very fair. What are you waiting for? Haven't booked yet? Go ahead, you won't be disappointed.

SPECTACULAR! Excellent seafood menu, masterfully cooked, generous portions, and great prices. Very friendly wait staff, lovely location. The owner, who is also the chef, is friendly, charming, and full of energy. Excellent place, highly recommended.
