31/03/2026: Excellent food and a splendid wine cellar. I'll start with the highlights. As for the ambiance and, above all, the service, I can't say the same. My "Roman-style" bill was €140 and I was charged €10 more than the others (I only noticed the next day). I was hesitant to decide between two bottles (the staff said they were the same price), but the one recommended turned out to be 35% more expensive. I asked for a bottle on some dishes and the recommendations were a bit "bizarre." I once again congratulate the chefs and the wine cellar, but I don't think I'll be back.

Their wine list is monumental, an endless selection capable of satisfying both the collector seeking a rare gem and those simply seeking an excellent glass at the right price. It's rare to find such a democratic yet refined cellar depth. The culinary offerings follow a philosophy of delicious simplicity. While main courses like expertly creamed risottos and raw fish dishes deserve special mention for their absolute freshness, the restaurant's true soul emerges in the finger foods, delightful treats for the palate. Whether for a formal dinner or a hearty aperitif, Carroponte remains an absolute guarantee.
