The ice cream is good and the place is nice, good prices

I stopped in this bar-restaurant-ice cream shop during an electric mountain bike tour, as it is located right on the Porto Garibaldi - Lido di Volano - Goro cycle path. I must say that the bar service is excellent with a wide choice of desserts for breakfast. It is pleasant to stop in the shaded and quiet outdoor area. The staff was very kind and the excellent value for money should be noted. After the rewarding stop I was able to resume the MTB tour with energy and I would like to point out that nearby there are some very panoramic points of the cycle path, such as the mouth of the Po di Volano in the sea, the ferry to Goro, the arte povera sculptures along the sea, made with the trunks that the sea leaves after the storm, truly beautiful. I highly recommend this venue.

The Ice Cream Café is very good, a "nice" bar that we discovered and tried last Sunday. Having arrived on site at 5.15pm almost by chance during our walk 🚶🏻‍♂️🚶🏻‍♀️ through the streets of Lido di Volano (which also allowed us to admire 👀 the magnificent deer 🦌 of the pine forest 🌳), we entered and ordered immediately a couple of cappuccinos ☕️, a pastry with apples 🍎 and a rice pastry 🥧; the lady at the counter 👩🏻‍🦰 then served us everything via a tray that we independently brought to the table. After a while we then integrated our order with a tea 🫖 and another pastry, namely a fan partly covered in chocolate. Everything was certainly good 😋 and the atmosphere was pleasant given that the structure turns out to be a fairly popular meeting place. In fact, at the table next to us, a passionate 🔥 card game ♠️♥️♦️♣️ was taking place which reminded me of the bars/recreational clubs of the past. On the opposite side, however, another small group was stationed convivially 🍸🥂 in front of the counter. "Singular" was the manager 👩🏻‍🦰, who, when it was time to pay the bill, seemed to have disappeared. At that point, a nice and histrionic customer 👩🏻‍🦳 arrived at the counter explaining to us that the owner 👩🏻‍🦰 would sometimes be absent to look after three little dogs 🐕🐩🐕‍🦺; together we therefore consulted the price list 📋, displayed on the wall, trying to "interpret" the prices written in marker 🖍 (which had been corrected by hand ✍️🏻 but looked like hieroglyphics). At a certain point the manager 👩🏻‍🦰 returned and, without saying a word, allowed us to pay the total of 11 euros 💶, even giving us half a smile 🙂. The episode seemed frankly surreal to me but, ultimately, it made us have fun 😅. The role of the structure is strategic since it is the only bar in Lido di Volano present in the residential area (the others are all located at the beach establishments 🏖). Should the opportunity arise we will be back 👍🏻.
