A welcoming and intimate location, with a delightful outdoor pergola and rare attention to detail. The atmosphere is cheerful yet relaxed, perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal. The service is impeccable: the hosts are kind and helpful.
The food is truly top-quality. We started with a welcome appetizer, followed by excellent appetizers and first courses: fettuccelle with mushrooms and fettuccelle with rabbit sauce. We don't usually order a second course, but the Ischian-style rabbit was simply too tempting: the sauce was mouth-watering, so much so that we even mopped up the potatoes (cooked to perfection) with the sauce. Even though we ate quite a bit by our standards, we felt comfortable.
We paired everything with a white wine from their cellar and finished with two homemade bitters, myrtle and 4 citrus fruits, both excellent. We didn't take photos: we were too busy enjoying everything!
I recommend booking, especially if you want to try the rabbit, as the place is often packed.

We visited this restaurant for a special event. The quality of the food and the menu options perfectly represent Ischian culture. Authentic cuisine that exudes passion. The owners are incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. A very pleasant surprise. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful setting in a vineyard among rows of lemon and pomegranate trees.
Wide selection of seafood and meat dishes, from the more traditional ones, such as traditional Ischian rabbit to fried gnocco stuffed with cod.
Reasonable prices and very friendly staff.

This restaurant is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. It has a beautiful, well-kept outdoor terrace filled with greenery. The selection of dishes is well-curated, with quality ingredients and generous portions.
The service is attentive, unobtrusive, yet prompt and punctual. Recommended!

Perfect evening, excellent food, excellent wine, location surrounded by lemon trees and vines, menu rich in meat and fish dishes, sublime desserts. I recommend it.

Ein Empfang wie bei Freunden, man erinnert sich an die beiden Gäste, die - wie auch gestern - sehr gerne früh da sind. Die immer gute Laune verbreitende Kellnerin empfängt uns wieder, begrüßt wird man sehr angenehm ebenso von dem Ruhe ausstrahlenden Inhaber, der jeden Tisch im Auge hat und seinen ebenso aufmerksamen Mitinhaberinnen.
Küche, Bedienung und die Betreiberfamilien übertreffen sich wieder selbst:
Der Weißwein aus dem heimischen Weinberg (aus der Forastiera-Traube mit etwas Biancolella sehr fein verschnitten), eine Empfehlung des versierten Kellners, schmeckt edel und mineralisch, der „tuffo verde“ lässt grüßen.
Der Gruß aus der Küche war wieder ein Gaumenschmaus: gefüllte Zucchini.
Die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte (auch auf Empfehlung) aus Fischtatar und rohen Meeresfrüchten ist von einer solchen Frische, dass selbst Sushirestaurants neidisch würden.
Mit dem Seebarsch hat die Küche etwas Zeitloses kreiert. Der Fisch ist fein, gefüllt mit Kräutern und Fenchel und weiterem Gemüse, die Zutaten jedoch machen ihn zu einem Gedicht:
Kartoffeln in Orangensauce und eine Gemüseplatte entfalten zusammen mit dem Fisch einen unwiderstehlichen Geschmack.
Cheesecake mit Waldfrüchten und ein Erdbeersorbet runden eine wunderbare Erfahrung ab, gekrönt von einem Likör des Hauses aus Limone, Orange und Mandarine - eine perfekte Mischung.

In realtà non siamo ancora stati al Ristorante Pietratorcia, bensì nel piccolo bistrot che si trova nell'abitato di Forio, sulla salitella che porta alla chiesa di S. Gaetano... posticino con 6 o 7 tavolini, libri -era una libreria in precedenza- e bottiglie della Tenuta in vista. Pochi piatti, salumi interessanti, da assaggiare il baccalà al forno con contorni ( lo chef è portoghese, con il baccalà siamo in casa del Diavolo), e la tagliata, che sa davvero di carne, a dispetto del fatto di trovarci in mezzo al mar.
Riguardo al vino, abbiamo provato il S. Vito, rosso vinificato in macerazione carbonica - una interpretazione che avvicina al beaujolais- ed una interessantissima biancolella senza solfiti, quasi un orange wine ma con la sapidità marina che trovate in quest'uva. Il tutto accompagnato, spiegato ed intrattenuto dalla gentilezza e dalla passione del proprietario e del suo vice, che dopo la seconda serata, salutandoci, hanno anche voluto farci un graditissimo omaggio.
La prossima calata ad Ischia, sarà nostra cura visitare la Cantina.
