Expectations were quite high, quickly dashed by poor service. The menu certainly could cater to a variety of tastes, but if you want to aim high, simply offering four different options isn't enough. In my opinion, you need highly professional staff.

Don't be fooled by the high prices and the photos of the "gourmet" dishes, which make you fear "minimal" portions. In 3 people, we had 3 appetizers, 3 first courses and 2 desserts and it was really a challenge to get to the end of everything, but it was worth it!
Above all, the tasting of raw fish was something good to move you.
I also want to say that everything was extremely fresh, seasoned with extreme balance and delicate, which we particularly appreciated.
Very kind and discreet staff.
Absolutely recommended to indulge in refined and delicious dishes that are definitely worth the price.

Era da anni che non cenavo più al Pepe Nero a causa del fatto che la mia azienda ultimamente non prenotava più, per le mie trasferte a Catania, all'hotel a fianco, ma questa volta che è successo non vedevo l'ora di tornarci.
Sono passati quasi 7 anni dall'ultima volta ma nulla è cambiato.
Nè la qualità, né l'ospitalità.
Molto felice di aver ritrovato anche e soprattutto le persone di un tempo.
Ci rivedremo molto presto! Promesso!

I have always been of the opinion that a restaurant should specialize in a single type of food to guarantee the quality of the products; and instead the Pepe Nero restaurant is one of the very few that has always surprised me positively because you can eat good appetizers, first and second courses both seafood and meat, and also pizza and sushi of excellent quality. Recommended +++++

Nice atmosphere, attentive and accurate service. Good fried food, dry and tasty, excellent pizza dough but what surprised us were sushi and sashimi, a real explosion of flavors.

I came this Friday for lunch without a reservation. The setting was very pretty, but the atmosphere was rather cold, and a warmer atmosphere from the waiters would have been appreciated (the fact that we were the only customers certainly played a role).
The dish was served quickly with decent ingredients. Perhaps a little pricey for the quality/quantity ratio, but I recommend it.
