03/10/2025: The best place to eat in Maremma and beyond. The staff is as exquisite as the menu. Handmade pasta, cheeses, cured meats, and freshly baked tart... all accompanied by red wine and water.
The atmosphere is family-friendly, like going to lunch at your aunt and uncle's. A truly pleasant discovery, we'll definitely be back.
10/09/2025: A memorable place... a day of bad weather while we were camping in Tuscany, I set out to find hidden restaurants in Maremma for a good lunch. What can I say? After miles of curves and ups and downs, we arrived at Becagli. Everything was truly excellent: the appetizers included fresh sausage, capocollo, Tuscan raw ham, finocchiona, and cheeses with jams.
A trio of first courses included pappardelle with truffles and porcini mushrooms, the best Maremma tortelli, with thin pasta where you can finally taste the filling (we've tried others in other places these days), and gnocchi with porcini ragù.
For second courses, we tried ossobuco with porcini mushrooms and roast veal and potatoes, finishing with a cherry tart and tiramisu. Spectacular!! Well done, and keep it up!!! 💪💪💪
