Welcoming and always kind management, excellent food and generous portions that can be replenished upon request. The restaurant inside is very simple, but if you are looking for the fake shabby chic place that the Apennines are full of, perhaps you are in the wrong place. In summer a pleasant terrace with pergola expands the room.

Sono andato in questo ristorante a pranzo dopo averne sentito parlare a lungo. La fama sicuramente lo precede, ma le attese non sono state disattese. Coradella da 10. Eccezionale, la più buona che ho mai mangiato. Lumache molto buone e in formato maxi. Trippa ottima. I primi molto buoni e abbondanti, gnocchi al ragù e tagliatelle con i funghi. Come secondo tris di agnello: fritto, alla griglia, in fricò. Come dolce crostata o zuppa inglese. Durante la settimana il menù è fisso e varia a seconda dei prodotti che riescono a reperire e da ciò che la signora decide di cucinare. Durante il weekend penso che ci si possa accordare in precedenza per arrosti, paste al forno, ecc. Prezzo 35 euro. Di questi tempi un affare, soprattutto dal momento che le porzioni non esistono, se ne vuoi ancora basta chiedere! Nota molto importante, nonostante i piatti non siano tipicamente estivi non ho sofferto di pesantezza nelle ore successive!

Sono stato a pranzo insieme a un amico e mio fratello durante le ferie estive.
Il menù non c'è, ovvero mangi quello che la Signora ha preparato al mattino.
Antipasto con trippa, lumache, erba cotta, coradella, crescia bianca e pane. Porzioni abbondanti e se ne vuoi di più basta chiedere che ti riempiono il piatto senza nulla di extra da pagare.
Poi tagliatelle ai porcini e gnocchi al ragù di anatra e piccione. Stessa storia, se ne vuoi di più basta chiedere.
Poi agnello fritto, agnello alla brace e agnello in frico. Zuppa inglese, crostata, vino e caffè.
35€ a testa.
Coradella e tagliatelle sono di un altro pianeta.

A historic venue, among the best in the area both for the quality of the food and for the absolute ability of the manager, who also owns the bar in the small square of Serravalle.
Best coratella in the area, the snails are also excellent, not to mention the first courses and the fried lamb.
If you are in the Peaarese hinterland I recommend you organize an outing to the Rossana pension, you will certainly return.

"The dress does not make the monk" A dress, perhaps not in line with contemporary expectations, finds a monk "the cuisine" stands still in time as does the wonder of the Apennines.
Don't miss to order the appetizer, that is, snails, offal and tripe, accompanied by excellent fried lamb. In the end...an excellent wine & sour cherries. In my opinion these are the real 5 star restaurants
