I returned to Caffè Parnaso after many years, when I attended high school next door and it was customary to stop here before or after lessons. I always consider the place enchanting with its view of the Tiber and the acquacetosa, giving great breathing space and a nice touch of green. I discover that it has recently been taken over by a couple of entrepreneurs, with whom I chatted pleasantly, who want to relaunch it and make it a point of reference for catering too, and not just for breakfasts and aperitifs. On their advice I had an excellent (and also abundant) plate of tonnarelli alla norcina, and an equally tasty blancmange with red fruits. All well served, well presented, and in a welcoming and pleasant environment. What more can I say: a very encouraging start and for me a new place to count on when I am in Rome.

A tasty and well organized birthday lunch. After a long time I tasted a fillet with crazy green pepper. Rediscovered flavors of the past and top quality meat. Parnassus is always an excellent choice and Arianna's new management takes it even higher. Well done!
