Ristorante Papillon In Torre boldone

Excellent experience. I was there in the evening, the view was still beautiful. Elegant atmosphere, excellent food.

In a splendid location just above Torre Boldone (BG), this magnificent restaurant welcomes its customers with a window and a breathtaking view of Bergamo. The tables are well set with cotton tablecloths and assorted napkins. We were immediately accompanied to our table by a kind and smiling girl. Ours is a Smartbox tasting menu with numerous courses, from appetizers to dessert and coffee. Let's start with the chef's appetizer which is a marvel of cheese mousse and half a grape. Then the appetizer, crunchy millefeuille with courgettes and mushrooms and light fondue. Two first courses of your choice, tagliolini with clams, nettle olives and spinach with cheese fondue. Two second courses, always of your choice, sea bass, sliced. Here the raw materials are exceptional, the plating is done to perfection, you can see that there is a real chef in the kitchen. The desserts are no exception, the classic tiramisu made by them in an exemplary way and a vanilla semifreddo with melted chocolate on top. What spectacular dishes, what wonderful flavours, what a desire to return!!! All served in an impeccable, kind and thoughtful way, always smiling. I will definitely return and highly recommend.

Una bellissima scoperta! Prenotato con uno smartbox semplicemente perché il posto più vicino a casa. Le recensioni erano ottime e ci siamo fidati.. Cosa dire?location splendida con vista mozzafiato. Già solo questo merita almeno una cena. Ci riceve una signora elegante e dai modi piacevolissimi. Lo chef Antonio ci saluta e ci racconta un po della loro storia. Ambiente accogliente e menu da urlo! Dall'antipasto al dolce al loro pane fatto in casa e i grissini squisiti. La tagliata deliziosa. Insomma dobbiamo tornarci subito! Anzi abbiamo già prenotato:) Grazie per la piacevole giornata. Ah..non dovete perdervi il budino alle castagne con riduzione di cachi..imbattibile!

I have to promise myself to return to Papillon more often. Excellent dishes, cooked with quality raw materials. The taste on the palate is excellent, each course is a riot of flavours, smells and colours. Courteous and discreet staff, the management is very attentive to customer needs. Very honest price for the overall high quality. If I really have to find a flaw, it is not in the dishes, but in the restaurant premises which could do with a bit of "updating". 5 stars well deserved! Compliments.

Elegant atmosphere, very kind staff and excellent cuisine. A choice between two first courses (I recommend homemade linguine with fish sauce), two second courses (the slow-cooked sirloin is delicious), and several desserts, all very refined and tasty.

Locale elegante, personale gentilissimo e cucina di ottimo livello. Scelta contenuta ma di piatti molto curati e gustosi (consiglio tagliolini fatti in casa e carne a lenta cottura).
