The restaurant is located right on the square of the Ruspoli castle. The atmosphere is exactly like an old palace, even if the entrance is not so obvious. Good homemade food, nothing elaborate.

Excellent everything. I came across this restaurant by chance. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and asked to be served quickly. At first I thought there was only the room in which we were having lunch, with a few tables. Only at the end, when I went to pay the bill, I saw two other rooms, all full!! and I appreciated everything even more! We were served in a very short time, Mrs. Francesca was kind and understanding, as well as very fast. I consider the food excellent, hay with meat sauce, porcini mushrooms and potatoes, new wine, dessert and coffee. Everything delicious! the first course, homemade (like all the others that we will return to try) was truly a delight for the palate; fresh baked porcini mushrooms then what can I say...! I found the dessert, trifle, absolutely balanced, the ancient flavor of homemade desserts with fresh ingredients.
I left there happy and satisfied, after paying a normal, adequate bill. I will definitely be back, highly recommended!!

Restaurant on the first floor not very visible on the main square of Vignanello next to the castle
Very kind staff, they accommodated us even without a reservation, the service was quick, the food was tasty, the bill was in line with what was consumed.

Tutto ottimo ma..
pieno di aspettative ci sediamo e la cameriera e cameriere gentilissimi ci servono velocemente, abbiamo
Asaggiato tortelli di patate ai porcini buonissimi ( attenzione non sono quelli mugellani ma quelli viterbesi), fili di paglia alla gricia fantastici, per i secondi scaloppina ai funghi e maialino con castagne che erano di una morbidezza e dolcezza, ma … poi arriva il ma i dolci, portato una panna cotta ai frutti di bosco che frutti non erano ma top ai frutti di bosco ( sciroppo denso ) e alquanto stucchevole, e torta alla pera e ricotta già pronta industriale che purtroppo era congelata e non possibile tagliarla con il cucchiaino, diciamo un semifreddo ghiacciato , peccato tutto notevole prezzi ottimi, servizio eccellente, ma per i dolci dovete rivedere un po’ il discorso pasticceria ( ps quando si portano i cucchiaini si portano per il manico con le dita, non dalla parte che si mette in bocca…)

As first courses we ordered canapese hay gricia and pasta with garlic and slightly spicy tomato, really good.
Second course worth mentioning is the suckling pig with rum and chestnuts, a real delight.
Good sautéed chicory.
For dessert we tasted the vanilla chestnuts with rum, cream and flakes of dark chocolate, amazing, the only flaw is that the cream is not freshly whipped... Too bad...

Extraordinary location. Food with quality ingredients cooked in a simple but at the same time refined way. Very light. Stunning view and great friendliness. Dogs are welcomed with kindness
