An osteria that feels intimate, homey, with family warmth and a sense of the past: in the best sense of the word! I visited La Vignetta for dinner. The interior is reminiscent of an Alpine chalet, cozy and comfortable. Forget the ostentation of Milanese chic and fashion. Here, time stands still; there's no need to overeat to get the tables turned! Veronica and Paola (I hope I remember their names correctly), friendly, approachable, and welcoming, explain the menu to you, making you feel right at home: authentic, healthy, flavorful, and delicious food! They truly convey the idea that you want to feel good at La Vignetta! The food, it goes without saying, is excellent, spectacular. We tried two risottos: with bbq and with pumpkin and Zola, and we were absolutely delighted! The braised beef with polenta was sublime. And the bill: absolutely reasonable, excellent value for money! There are few things as embarrassing as being caught by your mom engaging in autoeroticism, being in an elevator alone with stomach flutters, accompanied by your neighbor who, as soon as she gets in, is forced to sniff the scent of your flatulence, or dinners with colleagues that inevitably end up revolving around humidity or how wonderful it would be to retire. But this time, everything turned out well, because when the risottos arrived, even the embarrassment faded into the background: we received a trio of first courses that couldn't have been bettered by a Brazilian attack. Perch risotto, praised by the colleague who organized it, pizzoccheri, which no one knew about given its geographical origins, and chestnut risotto, which, in my opinion, was whipped up by the hand of God in a heavenly manner. There were also some honorable mentions, like the rusticiada sauce or the blueberry risotto, which, when treated as if it were a twist, made you feel as at ease as a ray of sunshine after a rainy day. In fact, the ray of sunshine can even be seen when it comes to the bill, which is truly modest for the experience (let's not forget: it was a colleagues' dinner after all).

We went for lunch on Sunday. There were 12 of us, and we had a great time.
It was our first time there, as the place is small and there's not always enough space. In fact, I recommend booking in advance because it's definitely worth it.
The cured meats and cheese appetizers were also delicious.
I'll be back, and we'll definitely be back.

L'ambiente di questo locale è molto informale e casereccio, ma le portate generose e un menù con proposte gustose lo rendono apprezzabile nel suo genere.
Non posso dire nulla del costo, perché il conto non l'ho pagato io in quanto ospite.
