Ristorante Osteria Il Gallo In Riva del garda

We had a quick lunch at this place on Saturday 29th March. Very nice and clean place, extremely kind and attentive staff, and what we ate and drank was all excellent. The expense was absolutely fair. The little square where the restaurant overlooks is beautiful, it's a shame that it's not yet the season to eat outdoors. Still recommended.

Lunch in Riva del Garda with lady. Place in a small square adjacent to the main square; the decidedly welcoming environment with soft and intimate colors and lights that make it easier to enjoy the meal in company; the minimalist and rustic furnishings are very reminiscent of the rural inns of the past; service always present and fast but never intrusive; courteous staff. the dishes offered are well prepared, very good and the portions are generous, the cellar's offerings are good and varied. An excellent culinary and human experience that made a very pleasant day special. The bill in the end was average but you certainly left convinced that you had spent your money well. One of the best restaurants where I felt most at ease! Highly recommended.

Sublime place, the cuisine is fantastic and traditional with a touch of modernity, the owner is very nice and professional, keep it up and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Good but not exceptional, it is on Lake Garda so honest substance and prices on average higher than they should, staff not Italian but friendly and polite

Arriving in Riva around 1.30pm we immediately looked for a place to have lunch, we found it right behind the square, a little out of the way, they welcomed us with warmth and kindness, they served us almost immediately despite the place being full and the food was good and made with local products. typical!

We had dinner two evenings in this very welcoming restaurant. The staff is courteous and professional. We appreciated the well-curated menu and the good choice of wines. The salted meat, dumplings, tagliatelle, rabbit and venison stew with polenta are excellent. Highly recommended!

We ate there with two families, location, in short, good service, very kind food. They changed our first course because it was too peppery. However, I would recommend it, I would go back (n.b. When we had the dish remade, the chef came out and made his face, it's not for everyone to apologize)

Nice place to have lunch at reasonable prices without great pretensions. A note of thanks to the two waiters who served us as they were super helpful and friendly.

Collocato nel pieno centro storico, ambiente piccolo e accogliente con spazio anche esterno. I piatti del menù non mi hanno molto entusiasmato e ho preso il fuori menù di gulash con polenta davvero spaziale, si scioglieva in bocca. Anche gli strozzapreti e i dolci erano molto buoni. Prezzi buoni per la qualità offerta: acqua, 2 calici vino, un primo, un secondo, due dolci e un caffè 75 euro.
