I highly recommend the Osteria di Sorbara, which as the sign underlines, is truly a gastronomic paradise, furthermore the staff is very kind, super polite, capable of making you feel at home. I was near Modena last week for my partner's birthday, we had no way to preserve the leftovers from dinner (the dishes, in addition to being delicious, are remarkably abundant), yet we were given the opportunity to take away the tigelle with Nutella for breakfast the next day before leaving.
In particular, the gastronomic experience we chose consists of the fixed price menu which includes an encore of first courses and a platter of cured meats, cheeses and Nutella accompanied by fried gnocco and tigelle. Let me start by saying that the two first courses left us speechless, exquisite tortelli with nettles, excellent tortellini with parmigiano reggiano fondue! Excellent quality cold cuts, cured meats and cheeses, but the end of the world is fried dumplings for life!

Price perhaps a little above average, but it is truly a place where everything is in its place and there is a priceless relationship between customer and servers which is refined, kind and respectful, and at the same time, so to speak, familiar and "homemade", like the authenticity of everything we were served. The food is TOP. We tried traditional starters (gnocco and tigelle, not very abundant), first courses (tortellini in parmesan fondue, tortelloni, also not very abundant but okay), tagliatelle with meat sauce (nice portion), spectacular fillet, memorable desserts as well as digestives, ( I believe offered by the house) at the end of the meal. In short, I give a 5 star review and I will gladly return when I can afford to eat out and eat WELL traditional food, in a convivial atmosphere with excellent service, or if I have, as this time, guests who want to savor the local cuisine in the best possible way.

Decentralized location with convenient parking. Interior normal. The menu offers very little choice and is then invalid: I opt for the mixed boiled meat, but then when I take the order they warn me that it is no longer in season..... Let's take something else, gnocco &c. good, rest of a reasonable standard. Service "that wants to please at all costs" and perhaps achieves the opposite effect. Prices higher than the local average and not justified by superior quality. This is my MODEST, indeed VERY MODEST opinion.

Siamo tornati sapendo di trovare un'accoglienza professionale ma calorosa....la cena è stata perfetta,consiglio sia le tagliatelle al tartufo,la grigliata e come dolci il semifreddo al nocino e la mattonella rivisitata. Complimenti allo staff ,nonostante siano giovani,riescono a farti passare una bellissima cena....

What can I say... you absolutely must try it!
Restaurant 20 minutes from Modena, with ample parking and outdoor area with kids area. Fresh homemade pasta, high quality products, tasty dishes and attentive and competent service. An ideal place for children too. Highly recommended!

É sempre un piacere ritornare in questa osteria situata nel cuore delle ubertose terre del celebrato Lambrusco ( di Sorbara, appunto). A distanza di poco più di un anno eccoci nuovamente: eravamo in sei, per un piacevole evento familiare. Pranzo della tradizione, preceduto da un godurioso e sublime antipasto a base di gnocco fritto, questo veramente superbo, e di ottime tigelle, con un contorno di formaggi, salsine e di affettati di ottima qualità. Come dalle migliori previsioni i primi e le pietanze, per non parlare poi dei dolci,. In questo locale lo rispetto verso la tradizione è la cifra che lo contraddistingue.
