My wife and I stopped for lunch, fantastic experience, typical home made food at an absolutely modest price. Impeccable service and normal waiting times. We will definitely be back!!!!

We went for lunch. They were very polite and professional. Good dishes, nothing to say. Just too crowded, almost like a canteen. But it's certainly not their fault. Maybe it's better to try again in the evening.

We ended up in this rather hidden restaurant by chance. The food is delicious and the service is very attentive and exceptionally friendly. Anyone who has the opportunity and is in the area should plan a visit. :)

Familiar but formal welcome. Clean environment with open kitchen. Manager, Giuse, definitely has something extra. He accommodates and pampers customers creating an almost friendly relationship. I was there in 2024 and a year later I returned with friends to eat at Giuse. What can I say about the food, all fresh, carefully prepared goods, nothing "ready-made" but all things prepared at the moment, with good quality and a final price that you will not find elsewhere. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE.

This place is an institution in Stradella.
Located inside a hotel, the Osteria del Giuse has the flavor of other times, both in the atmosphere and in the simple dishes but prepared at home and with quality ingredients.
The menu of the day is described verbally by the waiters and offers mostly the classics of the Oltrepo.
We shared the mixed appetizer and everything was excellent: honorable mention goes to the coppa and the salami of the Oltrepo hills, among the best cold cuts I have eaten in the Pavia area, and to the lard and honey, very soft, it could almost be spread on the bread.
The only anonymous note was the chicken salad with vinegar reduction, a dish that really didn't mean anything to us.
For the first course I had the ravioli with braised meat, very good and, above all, abundant, I struggled to finish them.
The wine selection is a bit minimal but with some interesting labels.
Fast and very kind service, managed by many young people.
The price was more than good, with two bottles of wine we spent 25 euros each.
I will definitely go back!

Ho cenato con un primo, un secondo e un calice di rosso, ben consigliato dalla casa, gustando ottimi sapori lombardi, con un equilibrio di gusto difficile da trovare nei ristoranti: giusto di sale, giusto di olio e burro, mai pesante, indipendentemente dalla pietanza. Ottime anche le materie prime. Il servizio è attento e presente; tra l'altro la gestione della sala è spesso fatta anche dal titolare stesso, che ama il proprio mestiere e lo sa fare con discrezione ma anche con spirito di coinvolgimento verso il cliente. Pagato una stupidaggine, ci sono tornato anche la sera dopo. Consigliatissimo!
