Basic, spartan. What matters most here is the quality and respect for tradition in the dishes. Each one better than the last. It's so well-known, popular, and sought-after that you need to book in advance. The food isn't great...more than that! Very satisfied!

The food is fantastic. Truly Italian, top-quality fresh pastas made tableside with fresh ingredients.
I was very impressed by the skill of the staff and everyone's passion. It showed on your plate.
A true gem; if you go here, you won't be disappointed. Make sure to book in advance, otherwise it's packed.
We sat in the courtyard on a beautiful summer evening. Perfect.

A must-see when visiting Lecco. A restaurant steeped in tradition, with exceptional service, Italian flair, and a passion for good food. We've been there twice, but it was the steak tartare, which is always prepared right at your table, and the ravioli with freshly grated truffle that absolutely stole my heart. Both times, we grabbed a table in the garden, just before dusk. It's atmospheric, delicious, and there's no unbearable feeling of overeating afterwards. We always felt taken care of and welcomed from the moment we booked until we left. We highly recommend it!

Fantastic! We were a group of four. Every dish was different, every dish delicious. The steak tartare prepared at the table is impressive. Reasonable prices.

I'm a regular customer and can say that my experience has always been very different from the one described. At this restaurant, I always find passion, care, and quality, both in the dishes and the hospitality. The tradition it has maintained for years is a benchmark for Lecco, and those who frequent it know it well. I understand that not every evening meets everyone's expectations, but I disagree with such a harsh review: it doesn't do justice to the hard work and constant commitment that you experience here every day.

Very nice place opposite the pier.
Fast, efficient, and very helpful service.
We had a starter for two: Parma ham and burrata, it was perfect!
Then the famous vitello tonnato, a local specialty for me...exquisite! And monkfish with cherry tomatoes and capers, very good.
With the aperitif, wine, and three courses, we left with a bill of 61 euros (count 2 euros per place setting).
Very reasonable for the meal and the time spent.
We'll come back if we're back in Lecco.

We stumbled upon this lakeside restaurant with a garden by chance. It was a wonderful surprise. Even without a reservation, the cashier found us a seat after just a few minutes. After a short wait, we were able to enjoy truffle ravioli, stew with polenta, and all the varieties of boiled meat, served as expected. The house wine was also good. Even though it was crowded, the service was excellent and efficient, catering to all our requests. The price was very fair for the quantity and quality of the menu. A place we'll return to, especially to try other dishes, which were undoubtedly delicious, that we saw being served at other tables.

Thanks Google; well-rated establishment and only locals at the tables, a guarantee of quality. The waiter was attentive, even trying to speak French. Otherwise, on the plate, for me, monkfish with cherry tomatoes and capers, a delight. For my wife, the local specialty, old tonnato, a killer. Price-wise, it's in the right range. For me, the only small downside was the noisy room because it's been in its original state for decades. That's minimal. Go there with your eyes closed.
