Ristorante Orestino In Lecco

The first restaurant that caught my eye on Google opened at 12, just in time for my arrival in Lecco. From the outside, you'll walk right past and miss it. Inside, you'll be greeted by a procession of people. It would be good to have reservations. I managed to get the last table and I was there at 7:00 noon. Most of them are locals, which speaks for itself; the atmosphere is truly family-friendly. The decor is reminiscent of communist Poland 😁 but that's nothing; the food is great, the service is amazing. I felt like there were more staff than tables; the table service is impressive, making my mouth water. But to make it not so sweet and beautiful, the "Dolci" menu doesn't compare to the savory options, but you can't have everything. You'll have to come back for a late-night meal for something more substantial. The prices aren't bad: lasagna €12, semifreddo €5, and coperto €2 🙂

Excellent boiled meats. Excellent desserts. We're in the third generation. Maybe the location needs updating. But... it's still good. After a year, tripe, potatoes, and Spanish white beans, lunch at noon, delicious.

A historic restaurant in Lecco, we go there whenever we have the chance. The dishes, many traditional Lombardy dishes, are excellent, from appetizers to desserts. The meats are amazing, and the boiled and roast meat trolley is a must-try. The tables are well-spaced, especially since many dishes are brought on trolleys, which I personally like. The atmosphere is bright and airy, with the lake just a few meters away. The staff is fantastic: precise, competent, and friendly.

Everything is top-notch. The restaurant's owner has been continuing the tradition for three generations. A pleasant, family-friendly Italian atmosphere – I highly recommend this place 👍

Lake-view restaurant whose signature dish is boiled meat. The food is excellent, and the quality/price ratio is excellent.

Everything was perfect! A restaurant where the food is truly excellent, with impeccable, excellent service, especially my beloved boiled meat cart. If I had to say one thing I'd change, it'd be the lighting, which is a little bright for my taste, and the noise. But absolutely surpassable.

Excellent service, divine boiled meat, waiters much more than kind… Absolutely worth trying… The place is packed and for a Monday with Lecco deserted, seeing so many people is a nice calling card… We will be back…

Mi esposa y yo celebramos una cena especial de luna de miel en Ristorante Orestino después de pasar el día en el lago de Como en julio de 2025. Esto fue hacia el final de nuestro viaje, pero como la suerte resultaría que dejamos nuestra comida favorita para el final. En primer lugar, la comida de la boloñesa tagliatelle, pasta de trufa y branzino al tiramisú y limoncello se prepararon, presentaron y probaron increíblemente. El ambiente era elegante pero pintoresco. Nos sentimos como los huéspedes y el personal nos abrazaron cálidamente a pesar de que hablábamos Italiano limitado y no éramos uno de los habituales, que IT parecía que había varios. ¡Y por una buena razón! Un restaurante verdaderamente imprescindible - parada en Lecco.

Ristorante tradizionale frequentato in massima parte da lecchesi. Piatti tradizionali aspetto da ristorante e sostanza da osteria non particolarmente emozionante. Prodotti di qualità media a giudicare dal sapore. Ho mangiato la tartare perché a quanto pare è considerata il cavallo di battaglia ed era molto buona però una domanda me e gliela faccio che senso ha grattugiare del tartufo su una tartare condita con cipolla capperi acciughe e cetrioli? Non era cattiva ma il tartufo era scomparso
