THEY DO NOT ACCEPT DOGS
Not knowing they don't accept dogs (it's written in small print on the website), we booked over the phone, but didn't specify (since 90% of restaurants accept pets) that we had a 3-month-old poodle puppy.
When we arrived at the restaurant from Milan, they stopped us at the door and wouldn't even let the "beast" enter in the rigid carrier.
What a shame... The food was good.

Good food, but the desserts are a bit overpriced, to be honest.
Vegetarians won't find any options on the menu, nor will the staff accommodate requests for alternatives.

I've been there several times. It's not very big, so it's best to book. The interior is truly quaint. The food is excellent, especially the homemade pasta. The service is very pleasant. I'll be back!

We're coming back from a motorcycle ride in the Piacenza hills. VARZI was one of our stops to stop for a bite, and we were very pleasantly surprised to find this fantastic little place. We had a delicious traditional appetizer and two first courses. We were truly happy and satisfied. The service was impeccable, and the staff were truly kind and helpful. We hadn't ordered dessert for the coffee, so we were served some really delicious homemade cookies. This will definitely bring a lot of positive publicity to friends and family who will be passing through VARZI.
