A classic Monferrato restaurant of the past, fresh and well-made food at an excellent price!!

We came for lunch. Obviously, we chose not to order the business menu, thinking that at least a wine menu would be provided. The dishes were explained verbally to us, and that's fine. As for the wine, you can order the menu. Anyway, the lady's service was pleasant. We had good appetizers. The Albese was excellent, and the peppers with bagna cauda were not recommended (there was no bagna cauda). Then they offered a first course, which we skipped. For the second course, we had chicken cutlets, which were okay, nothing special. It was fine for us, but after dessert, we saw other items served to other guests. Obviously, if you don't print the menu, at least present it on the blackboard. The staff were friendly. The managers, not so much... Anyway, it was fine anyway.

If you don't know, you might not stop. But the food is good. Piedmontese food, boiled meats, always available. The atmosphere is simple but very clean. We'll definitely be back!

And since 1987 I've been going to eat at Cicotto every now and then, the food has always been the same over the years, I have to say that it's always good.

An excellent place discovered by chance on the way back from an afternoon of photography. We stopped here on a Saturday evening and discovered there's no menu... we were served four appetizer courses (Russian salad, tender and very thin carpaccio, peppers with Bagnacavallo, and salted tongue topped with a delicious salsa verde), two first courses (mushroom risotto and tortellini with ragù), and a choice of mixed boiled meats or roast with potatoes for the main course. We chose the boiled meats. Oh, I forgot... after each course, the waitresses stopped by to ask if anyone wanted more... A bottle of sparkling water and a still one were already on each table. The three of us added a liter of red wine and three coffees. The surprise came at the checkout: €30 each. The only "negative" note was the apparent lack of air conditioning/fans in the dining room. It was really, really hot. Highly recommended.

Dinner show. Very friendly and fast staff. Huge room, but it fills up quickly!

Excellent midweek lunch break, perfect for a quick, healthy meal. Polenta, pasta, boiled meat, wine, water, and coffee. Excellent!

Family atmosphere, excellent food, it has become my regular stop. Thanks Roberto and team!!!
