The restaurant at the Hotel Savoia in Genoa is extremely convenient for those arriving by train, as it's located adjacent to the Piazza Principe station.
The location is elegant and meticulously maintained, truly splendid and with a strong artistic character. The staff is knowledgeable and always smiling (a quality I greatly appreciated, especially in such an elegant and sophisticated setting).
The dishes are sophisticated and high-quality, everything delicious, but I found the portions a bit small for the price.
The tiramisu is good, but it would be better if it weren't assembled freshly: resting would allow the ladyfingers to absorb the coffee and achieve a softer, creamier consistency.
Overall, I recommend it, especially for those who appreciate more refined and sophisticated flavors.

The restaurant we chose was accidental. We were looking for something to eat later in the day. We made a reservation first, then read some rather unfavorable reviews. The place turned out to be very good. The ravioli, steak, and turbot were first-rate. We were pleasantly surprised by the appetizer. The portions seemed small, but they were perfect. Everything was beautifully presented. A small minus for the cold mushrooms – a side dish with the turbot – and the fact that we had to take the appetizer plate away while eating. The restaurant is practically a bistro, highly recommended. Very nice interior. Great service. We left satisfied. We recommend it.

Nestled within the Grand Hotel Savoia, Acquamarina offers authentic Ligurian cuisine with well-balanced contemporary touches. Elegant interiors in marine tones, friendly service, and quality ingredients are evident in the dishes. Don't miss the ricotta ravioli with rabbit ragù, Taggiasca olives, and pine nuts—a thin, impeccably balanced pasta. The appetizer of dehydrated salmon and prescinsêua sauce is also excellent. Waiting times are longer on weekends, so reservations are recommended, as there may be a wait.

Quiet when we were dining except an American family who were funny to see enjoying the food. Excellent food, quick serving, typical Ligurian options.

Everything was excellent: food, service, atmosphere...
The place is truly charming. They welcomed us with a small plate of the chef's cheese (forgive me, I don't remember the name) and acacia honey, if I remember correctly, and dry focaccia with pesto. They brought us bread/focaccia/dry focaccia, all very good. My gnocchi were exquisite (I had my companion try them and he also liked them), as was the engineer's dish. We would have expected the Mont Blanc to be a little creamier, but it was still very good. With the coffee (which cost €3, not a dime a dozen), they brought us six pastries!
The staff was very friendly, perhaps even a little too attentive.
Finally, they offered us two limoncellos and let us choose where to sit: one of the three bar rooms (at least let's hope we didn't make a fool of ourselves and they were actually free; when we decided to leave, there was no one to ask if we had to pay for them, so we waited a bit and then went).
We booked with the fork 🍴 🍽️, and with the €50 discount, we paid really little!
If I could, I'd give it 6 stars!
My only suggestion is to point out that you enter through the hotel, because the sign and menu are through a gate leading to another restaurant, or to the terrace, which obviously you can't enter from.

Very nice restaurant, refined and good cuisine. The night I went, a Saturday night, there were only two people waiting tables, and the service was extremely slow and inattentive. A shame.
A bit pricey considering the experience.

We had dinner at the restaurant that's part of the Hotel Savoia in Genoa. Having experienced breakfast, the waiters were very kind and, above all, professional. The head waiter advised us on our choices. The food was excellent.
