18/03/2026: I stopped by this deli for dinner, and I must say it was a delightful discovery.
The Russian salad was truly excellent: balanced, light, with just the right amount of mayonnaise (finally, not too much!), making it much tastier and easier to digest than many other versions.
The meatballs particularly impressed me: for the first time in a long time, I rediscovered the authentic flavor of homemade meatballs, soft, flavorful, and carefully prepared. Truly a highlight.
The breaded tomini with speck were also excellent, well-made and very tasty, perfect for those looking for something different yet still rooted in tradition.
Finally, the zuppa inglese: a classic dessert made well, just the right amount of indulgence, a perfect end to the meal.
The prices were absolutely fair and in line with the quality offered.
I will definitely be back: quality, care, and authentic flavors, just like at home. 👏
22/02/2026: From the outside, it looks like a small, old-fashioned shop: hanging cured meats and cheeses, cupboards with jams and jars, wines, and everything you'd expect to find in a small village shop. The surprise is the refined yet extremely traditional menu, with perfectly sized dishes and excellent quality. The owner is a very friendly gentleman who enjoys conversation, and the waiters are extremely helpful and know how to recommend dishes from the wide selection available. Discovering it by chance, I was convinced to go in precisely because of the family atmosphere it exudes. I'll already know where to eat on my next trip to Vercelli.
