Food was delicious and well plated. The wine that the server recommended was also very nice. Great dinner choice!

Very warm, attentive hosts and service. Our meal was, from the first bite to the last, an outstanding delicacy. The dessert looked so beautiful that I had to pause for a few minutes before I was ready to “destroy” it.

Wonderful! It’s fine dining but without doubt the best value meal we had in the San Cassiano area, and probably in all of the Dolomites. Lovely food at a shockingly good price for the lush ambience. Strongly recommend

A very good surprise to discover such a good restaurant in the small village of San Cassiano. Creative dishes, very well prepared, efficient and attentive service with a charming person speaking fluent Italian, English, German, Spanish and a few words of French, very pleasant setting with beautiful views of the mountains. And all with a contained addition. A good gourmet restaurant.

Update June 18, 2024 Again we visited mumant restaurant again after 1 year. Wow, what a great place it still is. Great service and we took the villet nebraska. So soft and tender. Amazing. It's a bit pricey but worth it. Very good restaurant! Super quality food, totally worth the price. Great service, especially the beef, which is served on a hot plate. You can take 1 dish for 2 people. Add extra vegetables, no problem. Delicious top wines and they give all kinds of advice if you want it. What great service they have here. We came back twice and unfortunately we didn't spend enough time in this area otherwise we would definitely have come again. If you are in the area go here!!

There are few places today that combine elegance, high quality and class of cuisine with a homely atmosphere. You can find something like that in Mumant. Such loving and courteous service paired with cuisine that combines elegance, sophistication and quality while remaining true to its roots. The starters are cleverly combined, alongside classics, there are always unexpected twists that take classic dishes like venison tartare to a higher level. The main courses are of a very high standard and the proportions are almost oversized. The desserts are sophisticated and cleverly designed - everyone will find something, whether a light sorbet or the classic chocolate course in the form of a cigar, leaving nothing to be desired. The wine list is small but perfectly coordinated with the menu cards. The kitchen is always willing to do something different upon request or, for example, to organize a fish course if ordered in advance (e.g. branzino in a salt crust). Overall, the Mumant leaves nothing to be desired. Classics of South Tyrolean cuisine meet international class here in an upscale manner. A visit during your stay in Alta Badia is definitely worth it. A restaurant for special occasions that certainly leaves nothing to be desired. The price-performance ratio is excellent given the quality and service!!

Super Essen genossen, Lammkarree und Kalbstomahawk, als Nachspeise Eis. Prosecco und ein guter Tropfen Weißburgunder sowie ein Blaufränkischer aus Eppan rundeten das Erlebnis ab. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder!
