Right in the center, within walking distance, there is this fantastic restaurant-boutique. The dishes are all cooked with fresh, seasonal products which give them those unique aromas and flavours. Absolutely worth trying.

I left the MAM at 8pm and, walking along the street of poems, arrived in Piazza Satta.
It started to rain and I found Montiblu.
But how beautiful! It seemed to be in the extension of the museum. On the ground floor a boutique welcomes you and takes you to the first floor where there is a display of 4-star wines.
On the second floor there is the restaurant which continues to magnify the view with all the delicious details.
After a chat with a "colleague" sommelier, and reading the 'canned' menu, I tasted some stuffed ravioli with porcini ragout, a fillet with cannonau reduction with porcini mushrooms and a house dessert.
An experience that I truly and absolutely recommend in Nuoro.

Top setting, very friendly service, quality products, generous portions... only the two dishes I chose (octopus, then squid cooked at low temperature) were far too salty. Maybe I got it wrong? Really unfortunate.

Excellent quality, excellent dishes!! Place with attention to the smallest details from the decorations, to the scents and the background music!! new, fresh concept, a real surprise!!

Consigliatoci dalla guida della casa/museo di Grazia Deledda, il giorno di ferragosto e prenotato nella mattinata, abbiamo mangiato nella sala da the, in quanto il ristorante era pieno. Personale cordialissimo e disponibile, cibo ottimo e locale molto particolare.
Se capitate a Nuoro, andateci.

Struttura originale, resa ancora più suggestiva dalla mitica Egidia, proprietaria con il suo consorte, di questo locale che personalmente amo molto. Cucina ottima, servizio affabile e cortese, prezzi equi, rendono il “Monti blu” un’ottima scelta in campo di ristorazione. Superconsigliato
