Hotel with a good restaurant.
My double room, divided from a double bed and a smaller room with two single beds, was spacious and very clean, although the room with two single beds was a bit neglected in the cleaning. We stayed there for 5 nights and the breakfast was good and plentiful. The restaurant has a chef who knows his stuff and a fairly excellent wine cellar.
I have to mention one flaw, though, because in my opinion, a hotelier should have a minimum of a friendly look or a small smile, which wouldn't hurt, along with a bit of harmony when dealing with Italian guests who leave you 2k euros for 5 days. A little consideration is needed.

We ate at the restaurant this evening. Kudos to the chef and staff. I tried the duck and the ravioli, both truly fantastic, and then finished with their tart tatin... Wow, superb. It's a shame I didn't take photos because the eye was as delighted as the palate!

+ nice renovated rooms
+ balcony with a view
- it smells of cigarette smoke in all public areas
- I recommend you eat somewhere else as the food was a big disappointment.

This is our second stay at this hotel, which will become our home base when we're in Aosta.
The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the restaurant's dishes are delicious ("Il Nostro Tiramisu" is to die for and worth the trip alone), and the breakfast is comprehensive and delicious. The welcome and service are on par with everything else.

Lovely restaurant serving delicious well prepared food. I had the Macaroncini with a boar and pea sauce, and my wife had the risotto. We asked also for a salad that was well presented and fresh. I think there were a lot of locals inside which to my mind always suggests the food has to be great quality.
Definitely Worth the drive out of Aosta and the restaurant is in a beautiful village setting surrounded by the most stunning views of mountain scenery.

This is not a 3 star hotel, it's a 5 star hotel! I've never stayed in such a great place! Hotel Emilius is not only clean and comfortable, but also has an unbeatable view of the city, especially the night view. If you drive to Aosta, you must stay here, you will never regret it. The service is superb.

Gentile e molto accogliente il personale. Pulito e piacevole l'ambiente. Cucina non troppo raffinata e piatti proposti semplici e non tanti curati. Con poco di più sull'aspetto prettamente culinario, potrebbe valere molto di più.
