Discovering the new and innovative management of the historic MONFERRATO…. good quality raw materials cooked with great skill without diminishing the primary flavour. The staff at the tables were not very attentive and not very professional... on a non-crowded evening!!!! The chef certainly puts passion into his work and it shines through in his innovative dishes for the traditional place that it was!!! Good wine list Not very balanced quality/price ratio!!

Nuova gestione dopo decenni oltre 25 anni, il locale si affaccia sulla zona pedonale di via Monferrato, il personale e’ giovane ed attento . Il menù tiene ancora piatti tipici della cucina piemontese e ma ha anche diverse scelte tra piatti più moderni e ricercati. Eccellente la qualità delle materie prime, non è facile inserirsi dopo tanti anni della stessa gestione, ma stanno veramente facendo un buon lavoro. Vitello tonnato e battuta al coltello veramente buone!!! La carta dei vini ha una discreta scelta, potrebbe aumentare come etichette, nel complesso sicuramente da provare

Excellent restaurant with very high quality food and excellent service: from the meat tartare to the veal with tuna sauce, to the second courses of meat and desserts... all excellent. Applause also for the serious and professional service and for the uncommon wine list. Amazing food. The only critical issue, which I hope the owners will remedy as soon as possible or have already remedied, is the absence of a ramp, even a mobile one, at the entrance to the restaurant where there is a high step which, for those in wheelchairs as it was for one of us two, makes independent access impossible without help from third parties; ramp which, very economically, would ensure accessibility to those who use wheelchairs (a must by law, but also attractive for those who have a restaurant and want, also as a commercial policy, to make customers feel at ease) without difficulty and embarrassment. Ottimo ristorante con qualità e servizio eccellenti: dalla tartare di carne al vitello tonnato si secondo e dolci, tutto ottimo. Un plauso anche per il servizio serio e per la carta dei vini, non comune. Cibo straordinario. Unica criticità, a cui spero i proprietari porranno rimedio quanto prima e’ l’assenza di una rampa per chi è in carrozzina come era per noi due, rampa che, economicamente, assicurerebbe accessibilità senza difficoltà ed imbarazzi. Grazie.

Depends. It depends on whether you are invited or whether you invite. It's the quality/price ratio that doesn't convince me. If they invite me I'll come back, if I have to offer I won't. The price is also relative, for me the quality does not match the prices. That's all.

A nice place, with great service and interesting dishes. Medium-high prices especially for the wines, which are excessively overcharged.

Always at the top, both in terms of quality and service. I don't know if due to the new management the prices have increased significantly.

I found this restaurant to be above average in the catering offer in Turin. Excellent choice of raw material. Special, carefully crafted, non-trivial dishes from the Piedmontese tradition. I'm a vegetarian and I have difficulty eating in Piedmont but thanks to chef Allegri's advice I left very satisfied since I didn't eat the usual things they offer for people like me who don't eat meat or fish. I know that the management has recently changed and you can see that in the kitchen there is a staff trained in haute cuisine. I will definitely come back. The choice of wine list is also excellent
