Ristorante MoLá In Torri del benaco

We dined at this extremely welcoming restaurant this evening and were truly satisfied. First of all, the food is carefully selected and fresh, but what truly amazed us was how it truly felt like we were eating the way our grandmothers and mothers used to cook. Authentic, original, and not the usual tourist menu, but truly traditional Italian dishes, expertly prepared! True, the location overlooks the street, but the ambiance is meticulously designed and filled with spectacular works of art. Plus, there's no crazy traffic, so you easily forget about the few cars passing by. If I could give it 10 stars, I would! Well done!

One of, if not, the best traditional Italian meals we have eaten over the years. We were advised to book this eatery at the back of the more touristy and aesthetic lakeside. And in the searing heat of July, not the most pleasant temperature as we discovered a couple of years back. Anyway, greeted by a slightky stressed looking owner, Aldo. He had a fully booked restaurant which he incredibly served on his own and with great charm and humour. The courses are all in Italian, but, thankfully the ever reliant Aldo was there to guide us. Very traditional Northern Italian fare in a very traditional setting. Food was of a very high standard and great to see several high quality restaurants in beautiful Torri del Benaco. Ps - We were inside to dine, nice and airy and Aldo kept us entertained musically by consistently topping up the vinyls on his record player. Ristorante Mo La the highlight food wise of an overall very good culinary experience at Lake Garda. Highly recommended

The best (evening) meal of our Garda vacation. The menu was only in Italian, but everything was explained clearly in English. Located right on the main street, it didn't dampen our happiness.

I rarely write a review, but this place absolutely deserves it. 10/5 would be fair. The food is excellent! Small, manageable menu. Great starters, spaghetti vongole, the best we've ever eaten. The pasta from the daily special is also truly fantastic. The house wine is very good. The service is super attentive. The dessert is also so special. We'll be back!! Definitely an absolute recommendation.

Yesterday, we rounded off our short trip to Torri del Benaco and visited MoLà once again. My wife and I chose two dishes from outside the menu. For our first course, we had a wild garlic risotto, and for our second course, we had boneless chicken thighs, Romanesque style. I finished with dessert: a chocolate cake with apples and pears, topped with a delicious white chocolate cream. It was, once again, an extraordinary meal. The risotto, however, was even more so—a revelation. I've truly never tasted such a delicious risotto before. Wonderful. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Many thanks to the outstanding cook. Very nice restaurant! Do yourself a favor and find your way away from the tourist trap along the water. Here you get really good food and a wonderful welcome from the staff. The waiter's mother is the chef and it really feels like you are at home with an Italian family and get to taste the best they have to offer.

I only had one dish and it was fantastic. Get the amatriciana. Best pasta I had in Garda.
