I have known and frequented this adorable place since the 80s! Located near the Carrù motorway toll booth and in a Fantastic Territory: it is a "Holy of Holies" of Piedmontese boiled meat (and much more...), the New Managers (who have renovated the premises very well) are "Good " like the previous ones! The food: fresh, tasty and well cooked is sublime! Even the table service by two excellent young people is top notch! Prices, in correlation with the high quality of the food, decidedly low! Well done!! And thank you!

Classic Piedmontese restaurant, famous for its mixed boiled meat (which I didn't eat, however), good alternatives offered, good portions and good value for money. The restaurant on the ground floor is traditional, there are rooms on the first floor where I had lunch which unfortunately are cold despite the stove (which perhaps was turned on too late?).

Tutti gli anni con amici ci ritroviamo a Carrù per gustare il bollito. Eravamo già venuti al Moderno qualche anno fa, me lo ricordavo tra i migliori.... Questa volta non è stato così. Cioè, non discuto sulla qualità dei prodotti, ma il servizio..... Antipasti molto buoni, dolci altrettanto, il bollito molto buono vario....... Ma freddo. Forse i tempi sono da rivedere.

Abbiamo voluto provare, per la prima volta, questo ristorante con la voglia di mangiare il bollito. Il bollito è tipico di Carrù e volevamo toglierci la voglia. Concordato telefonicamente un menù con prezzo di € 45 con tre antipasti, bollito misto, tris di dolci, vino di Dogliani e acqua. Tri di antipasti buoni e piatto ben curato. Il bollito è stato al di sotto delle aspettative. Un piatto grande con pezzettini di bollito misto tutto assieme. Le salse era in bicchierini molto contenuti ma sufficente per la quantità di bollito dato. Alla fine tris di dolci molto buoni. Al conto finale ci hanno fatto un supplemento di €.2 per il caffè. Sinceramente non c'è stato soddisfatto per il bollito buono ma non servito correttamente. Vorrei provare altri ristoranti a Carrù, famosa per il bollito, per fare dei paragoni. A me che piace il bollito in altri locali te lo servono al massimo 2 pezzi per volta e sempre caldo. Tutto buono peccato che alla fine il bollito era freddino.
