This hotel is 5-star in every way. The absolute best hotel in Bellagio, and a top 3 hotel experience in my entire 50+ years of travel. They blend traditional Italian decor with modern luxury. The breakfast is insanely good, hosted in the most beautiful ballroom + patio. There can be no better place for a sunset cocktail than the bar perched over the pool and lake. The beachy area was ideal for resting, sunbathing, and dipping into the lake to enjoy the diving board and floating dock. The tennis court is beautifully nestled in amongst trees and the fitness club is lovely. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Bellagio. We spent a bit more for a lake view room and it was worth it. Highly recommend - enjoy!

The Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni is a comfortingly expensive, extremely high quality and luxurious hotel which is reflected across all public spaces and bedrooms with excellent attention to detail and cleanliness. Simply walking in to the hotel grounds from the rest of Bellagio makes you feel like a king amongst kings. Breakfast is an extravaganza of food, with something for everyone (including a cheeky glass of fizz). The restaurants serve very high quality tasty food that should be sampled at least once. The pool and beach area are very well attended. The hotel's positioning within Bellagio itself is brilliant - out of the way of the 'day-trippers' but central enough to easily pick up a ferry, go shopping or grab something to eat. What really sets the hotel apart is the staff, who are incredibly friendly, attentive and professional at all times and can't do enough to help. Personally, I'm happy for a little more informality once the staff get to know guests, but that may just be my preference. The only minor criticism I do have is that service did tend to wane when large groups or higher worth individuals were present, and we felt a little 'second class'. Special mention does need to be given to the following staff members who stood head and shoulders above everyone else for their friendliness and helpfulness, and made our holiday better for it: - Alice: As a fellow vegan, she helped me navigate the breakfast options on my first day which allayed my fears of starving for a week, and meant I eat like a king. She was always very friendly and even popped over half way through the week to ask how we were. - Maddalena: Always extremely friendly and welcoming every time I saw her, with a massive smile! She would always go out of her way to come over and stop for a chat, showing interest in us and what we'd been doing, and offer suggestions. Always a pleasure to speak to her. - Annabel: She had a permanent smile, bubbly personality and warm and friendly demeanour everywhere we saw her (which seemed to be in every department!). - Ilya: Despite his relative young age to the other waiting staff, he stood out as incredibly diligent, professional and friendly, even predicting my needs! It was genuinely a delight getting to know him, and he (as well as the owners of the GHVS and his managers) should be extremely proud of himself. He's doing an amazing job.

Noticed how luxurious this place looked as we walked by during our day trip to Bellagio. We were seated on the terrace under an umbrella and had a lovely view of Lake Como. Staff were attentive and friendly. We ordered a g+t and a pint of beer. Service was quick. We were also presented with some snacks to go alongside the drinks - the almonds were my favourite. A fantastic setting for a refreshing drink pit stop. We paid 37 euros. Everyone around the pool and on the terrace above the lake looked to be having a great time. We watched a few of the hotel guests walk down the steps to the water, climb onto the diving board and plunge into the refreshing lake. Also used the restrooms inside the hotel which were 5*. Would be a fantastic place to stay for a special occasion if you have the funds.

Estábamos celebrando un hito en nuestras vacaciones italianas, este restaurante no podría ser más perfecto! Se necesita reserva, y tenemos una mesa para cuatro en su sección de terraza (recinto de vidrio para mejores vistas). Es como comer al aire libre sin estar sometido a la intemperie. La vista al lago de Como y las montañas eran impresionantes. Se encuentra en el Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni, se entra en la puerta avisando a la persona de seguridad que estamos cenando en el restaurante. El código de vestimenta fue claramente comunicado. Casi casual elegante, solo que no quería que la gente apareciera súper descuidada. Para los hombres, camisa de manga larga y pantalones con zapatos bonitos. Las mujeres pueden usar pantalones bonitos o vestidos/faldas a juego con los hombres. El interior del hotel es precioso. Esperamos un poco en el salón antes de sentarnos en nuestra mesa grande con ropa de cama / mantel blanco y fresco. Comenzó la cena con algunos Bellini y cócteles. El sumiller fue muy útil en la selección de un vino para acompañar nuestras comidas. Cada persona puede hacer la opción de varios cursos, o seleccionar dos elementos sabrosos. Elegimos pedir aperitivo y un plato principal para cada persona. Tengo un bonito e interesante bouche de diversión. ¡Qué sabores tan interesantes! Estábamos encantados. Un pianista tocaba música durante la cena. Para nuestros platos principales elegimos pasta de langosta preparada flambé de mesa. También un pez lago rodaballo súper grande, lado de la mesa deshuesado. ¡Qué forma de arte! Todo se hizo a la perfección. Nuestros servidores / camareros eran increíbles y atentos. Nada menos que ser tratado como realeza. Estábamos un poco llenos para pedir postres, tan contentos de que al final de la cena, tienen algunos pequeños bocados para dulces. Pusieron una vela en una de las madeleines, eso fue genial. Me alegro de que Ristorante Mistral pudiera hacer esta ocasión especial estelar.

Dass das Restaurant ein sehr gehobenes sein würde war uns bewusst, jedoch muss ich leider sagen, dass ich vom essen nicht begeistert war. Das Chefs Menü um 250 Euro pro Person mit 7 gängen wurde auch nicht - wie ich es sonst in dieser Liga kenne- um weitere kleine häppchen als gruß aus der Küche angereichert. Jeder Gang schmeckte, das erwarte ich bei diesen Preise auch, aber kein Gang blieb mir dauerhaft in Erinnerung noch war eine Geschmacksexplosion. Für mich daher keine Rechtfertigung für den Preis. Das Ambiente am See ist wunderschön und der Service durch unsere Kellnerin und kellner Fabio waren fantastisch. Kurz: Traum Location, wunderbarer Service, gutes Essen aber nicht herausragend.
