A very special and characteristic place...a real discovery.

Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience with our New Year's Eve dinner on December 31st. There were four of us and we were deeply disappointed by several aspects. The venue and comfort: The space is cramped and very narrow, with the tables too close together. The main problem, however, was the unacceptable cold: with one degree outside, the temperature inside was so low that we had to dine in coats for the entire four hours. Despite our complaints, no measures were taken to heat the room. The cuisine: The menu was excessively heavy for such a long dinner. Starting with the appetizers, we were perplexed: serving heavily flavored cured meat and cheese platters to start a New Year's Eve dinner was neither a good nor a refined choice. The food pairings in general were too heavy. Service and hospitality: The most disappointing aspect was the management's indifference. Despite there being only six or seven tables in the restaurant, the owner never showed up to check on us after our complaints about the cold, much less to offer the usual New Year's greetings. A complete lack of customer service. Not recommended, especially in the winter.

Very welcoming service and a unique location. The portions are a bit stingy. I recommend the paccheri with octopus ragù and the rabbit. I don't recommend the appetizers, which are too rushed. Ideal for a quick one-course meal and a glass of wine.
