Definitely not the restaurant we would choose at first glance. Right on a busy street, with plenty of seating, and signage hanging on the walls everywhere (see photo). But since it was recommended by our local, we gave it a chance. The absolute plus points are the friendly service, the many local guests, and the good pizza (we didn't have pasta that evening). We will definitely be back.

Everything was delicious, unfortunately I didn't take photos. The fillet was very good and the pistachio profiteroles were truly delicious.

This pizzeria was a pleasant discovery. The tortelli are world-class, and the pizzas are thin and crispy, just the way I like them. I was very impressed. The prices were reasonable.

We visited Ristorante Pizzeria Mattagnano and were thrilled! The dishes are incredibly delicious – absolutely fresh and prepared with love. The service is super friendly and attentive, and you immediately feel welcome. What's especially great is that there are plenty of outdoor seating areas, so our two dogs could also comfortably join us. All in all, a perfect visit. Thank you!

The three of us had an appetizer for two, and a sliced ​​porcini mushroom steak. I must say, the meat and mushrooms were excellent. The cured meats were traditional Tuscan, so the platter was delicious. We spent a lot of money on pork for what we ate, in my opinion. Highly recommended.

Pranzo di lavoro in settimana. Il locale è grande con possibilità di ordinare sia dalla cucina sia dalla pizzeria anche a mezzogiorno.

Move On

10/10/2025: Super cool. I had initially only gone here for the vinyls but found myself sitting down for a pizza instead. They have amazing seating up top with all the LPs and you look right out at the Duomo. They have tons of new albums but also sealed older albums.
07/10/2025: Great Atmosphere! We stumbled upon "Move On" for a late-night dessert after dinner and were so impressed! This spot is right in the middle of Florence and is definitely a cool spot with great vibes. The interior and atmosphere are fantastic, stylish, retro-original. We especially appreciated the incredibly friendly service. The staff seems to be in a good mood and happy! That kind of positive energy is extremely rare these days and makes a huge difference! The desserts themselves were wonderful. They were beautifully decorated, tasted fresh, and were the perfect cap to our evening. We can absolutely recommend this place any time for a drink or a fresh, well-presented dessert. A genuinely nice experience!

BALLERINI IL CIOCCOLATO

15/09/2025: Very good food, took one star off because they do not serve real coffee, but Nespresso. Personnel not very friendly, they sometimes ignore you. We did come back because the food really is very good and the have a cosy little terrace on the street.
04/08/2025: Very good and cheaper than other places. Nice service and decoration. 👍
