Ristorante Marlin Cafè In Saronno

Having to go to Saronno, I wanted to stop at this restaurant for lunch because I'd heard the food was good. I have to say, the dishes we ordered were good, but the portions were definitely not up to par—perhaps suitable for children, certainly not for adults.

Exclusive atmosphere and quality food—we were pleasantly surprised. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable, offering excellent value. We'll be back.

Stop at this restaurant for a business lunch in the center of Saronno, near the train station. A full fixed-price menu starts at €15 (or €12 reduced). First and second courses are fish-based, with a side of potatoes, a glass of wine, and water. Good, high-quality food, well-cooked. Quick and friendly service. The atmosphere is quiet, clean, and easy to converse in. Recommended. 4 stars.

It's located near the center of Saronno, with convenient parking right in front. The restaurant's outdoor terrace is quaint and very romantic. The dishes are all seafood, delicious, and beautifully presented. Interesting menu options are available. Friendly staff. Perfect for celebrating a special occasion.

On the recommendation of friends, we decided to try this restaurant. The staff was friendly, but a bit aloof (perhaps due to internal policy, perhaps due to attitude... I don't know). A decent selection of fish, presented in a unique and refined way. If the owner accepts a personal opinion, many people enjoy eating fish without too many frills and condiments. The desserts were decent, nothing extraordinary. The wine list was average for the restaurant. As usual, half bottles are still a dream (and for the record, that evening a patrol stopped us and asked me to take a breathalyzer test... which I passed). The quality/price ratio was very fair. Would I recommend it? Yes, for a dinner with friends or a quick midweek dinner. To celebrate an anniversary, I'd suggest other places that offer that little something extra. But let's be clear... in the heart of Saronno, which wants to return to being the beautiful town it was a few years ago, this restaurant is an excellent and commendable staple.

In my opinion the prices are a bit high for average quality dishes. Also, in the middle of July the air conditioning was turned off and even though they asked us if we were hot, after the affirmative answer nothing was done about it. Precisely for this reason I give 2 stars to the service.
