Unfortunately, the museum for exposition is closed. The thing possible to visit are shop and cafeteria. It would be nice if they prevented visitors on their internet page

I'm writing a book: The Mysteries of the Macro. I don't understand the intransigent management policy of this museum... but it's not the only one! PS: Terrace with buffet restaurant for €25, excluding drinks... not bad.

I'm writing a thriller: Murder at the Macro! It's the story of a private investigator,
Tommaso Nizza, who, while investigating why a museum holds an exhibition every year, is killed while eating at the Materia restaurant on the museum's terrace. So far, nothing new, you might say!...True...but the body is never found and...

The MACRO is one of the most interesting cultural experiences you can have in Rome. Housed in a modern and architecturally captivating building, this museum immediately captures your attention, even before entering. Once inside, the atmosphere is lively, dynamic, and stimulating, perfect for those who love contemporary art in all its forms.
The collection is diverse and well-curated, with works ranging from innovative installations to thought-provoking paintings and sculptures. I loved how the museum's spaces are used creatively: the rooms are spacious and bright, allowing you to fully appreciate the works. Each exhibition seems to interact with the museum's architecture, creating an immersive experience.
In addition to the permanent collection, the MACRO hosts constantly changing temporary exhibitions, making each visit unique. The services are also excellent: the staff is friendly and helpful, and there are relaxation areas, such as the on-site café, offering a pleasant break.
Ultimately, the MACRO is a place that demonstrates that Rome is not just a city of antiquity and history, but also of innovation and creativity. A must-see for contemporary art lovers.
Would you like me to prepare a short version (100–120 words) in Italian for the MACRO?

I couldn't get in because there were no exhibits. The bookstore and sales area is beautiful and varied. Great for special gifts.

This is a beautiful gem found in the upper-east part of central Rome. Its super contemporary architecture is strikingly beautiful and the exhibition we saw was absolutely well curated.
You can even go on the roof while inside there's a great coffee shop.
A MUST SEE for those who love contemporary art and architecture (which Rome has plenty of).

It's not bad, but for 6 euros and such a small room, although they warn you beforehand, it seems too much to me.
