I went there on several occasions to study given the room available in the bar, where many students from the area gather, but unfortunately it is a bit too noisy having moved the bar inside the museum where there are works that have music or audio as an integral part of the exhibition.
As far as the museum goes, there are temporary exhibitions and it is mostly contemporary art so you may or may not be interested. The facility is well maintained and the staff helpful

It's a museum that doesn't even look like a museum from the street. Inside it is very spacious, with installations that change depending on the period you go. On the first floor there is a small bar with tables that act as a study room. At the back of the museum the exhibition rooms continue and there is another study room.

Entrance costs 6 euros (in full). The space has a lot of potential but unfortunately it is little explored, a shame. Come if you have time to spare, if not, it's not worth much.

MACRO (Museo d'Arte Contemporanea Roma) is one of Rome's leading contemporary art museums, located in the vibrant Testaccio district. Housed in a former industrial complex, the museum itself is an intriguing mix of old and new architecture, with modern spaces that contrast beautifully with the building's historical structure. MACRO is dedicated to showcasing contemporary art from both Italian and international artists, with a focus on the dynamic and ever-evolving nature of modern creative expression.
The museum hosts a variety of exhibitions, including painting, sculpture, photography, video installations, and more. Its diverse programming includes solo exhibitions, group shows, and special projects that often explore pressing social, political, and cultural themes. With an emphasis on innovation, MACRO provides a platform for emerging artists and experimental works, making it a key player in Rome's contemporary art scene.
For those interested in exploring modern art in the heart of Rome, MACRO offers a fresh and engaging experience. Whether you are a seasoned art lover or simply looking to see something new and exciting, the museum’s thought-provoking exhibitions and vibrant atmosphere make it a must-visit destination for contemporary art enthusiasts.

Plenty of people under 160cm. Elon musk was there with glitters on his right arm. Great experience punching the wall

Beautiful exhibition space created from a Peroni beer factory. However, it is worth noting the total lack of indications to orient yourself in the different spaces in which the Museum is divided. Today we found no significant exhibitions. The terrace overlooking the rooftops of the neighborhood is very beautiful.
