Modern exhibition space open to all and constantly evolving and transforming.

The architecture of the place is very beautiful, but there were no displays throughout the museum. It looked like it was under renovation. What adds a star is the bookstore.

A must-see. After the obligatory passage of two thousand years of history in Rome, this museum is pleasant and not crowded with people like in the streets.

I like MACRO in general, the establishment, gallery, art works etc., except the service in the BAR! The male staff doesn't appreciate his job, didn't show any respect to the guests maybe he is just a part time student? The management should really think about it. But the studying area is cute.

Welcoming location, with great attention to detail with a beautiful large terrace. Excellent choice of music thanks to the highly trained DJ. Considering that we had gone to dinner and that it was also the weekend we also saw a "not bad" show for those who appreciate skimpy costumes worn by beautiful girls accompanied by live music that was a little too loud! It was no longer possible to converse as I would have liked. I won't deny that the genre surprised me. (for a moment I felt like I was in a club for adults rather than in a refined and discreet restaurant as I mistakenly imagined) It is very likely that my opinion is also influenced by my age, no longer in my twenties. However, I would like to return, perhaps on a weekday just to appreciate the food, the music chosen by the DJ and the location. I couldn't resist capturing the gorgeous floral arrangement on one of the tables.

Come to the #macro. It doesn't matter what the exhibition-event of the moment is. You will find out in real time; if you deeply appreciate the value of an authentic epiphany. A new director took over her role a few weeks ago and therefore a dense program of exhibitions and cultural events that are certainly unmissable will begin very soon. The Macro Museum in Via Nizza is imbued with the postmodern charm typical of industrial archeology sites given back to a new life, and to brand new illuminations. And above all it must not be classified as the younger and marginal brother of the complex and precious Roman museum system. If you love the modest beauty of a secluded place yet very close to the historic center of Rome, come to Macro even just for a visit to its #bookshop on the ground floor or to the #aulastudio, and to drink a coffee in the bistro on the first floor. And make it your favorite place.

Beautiful exhibition of Chinese artists

Large spaces, little used for now. Beautiful exhibition on contemporary Chinese art.

I visited the macro for the first time for an exhibition on the painters of the National Academy of Chinese Painting. Beautiful and interesting and well articulated; around 20 pictorial works, each one had a qcode to scan to read the explanation. With the same ticket it was possible, in theory, to visit the entire museum and its works, however this was not possible because the entire museum exhibition was being reorganized due to a change of director.

The exhibition on Chinese paintings was very interesting. It's a shame that at the moment it was the only thing to see in the whole museum, which in any case as a structure I think is worth visiting.
