New mobile home on a small campsite right on the lake. Perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with great restaurants within walking distance.

First of all: I'd really like to give it six stars, but that's not possible.
We've been here several times in twelve years. Since then, it's been constantly modernized, but the most important thing remains: a campsite with indescribable charm in a prime location with the best team ever!
Here are a few facts:
- Small bar with nice seating (drinks, snacks, ice cream, etc.) and a kiosk for morning rolls and basic groceries (there's a supermarket a few hundred meters away in town).
- Great beach directly adjacent to the campsite. Like everywhere here, the lake is rocky, so I recommend bringing beach chairs with you if your camper's luggage space still allows it.
- Modernized sanitary facilities, cleaned regularly, in top condition. Washing machine and dryer are available in the adjacent "Casa Sabina."
- Well-maintained pitches of varying sizes. For the electrical connection, I recommend bringing an extension cord or cable reel. I once had the misfortune of not having enough power to reach the connection point, but that probably only happens at a few sites here.
- Perfect location as a starting point for day trips: boat tour across Lake Maggiore (pier in Maccagno not far away), bus to Luino, for example, or by car to Val Veddasca, etc.
And what else? - Relaxed people, relaxed atmosphere, simply great! We were always treated very well; they speak Italian, German, and English – no problem at all, everyone is always very helpful, and you get what you want. There is also the option of renting mobile homes here. We did that once, and it's just as highly recommended as the holiday apartments at Casa Sabina, which can also be booked through reception.
Many thanks to the LagoCamp team; we'd love to come back!

Very good campsite! Absolutely the perfect place to relax. It's quiet, with well-equipped and plentiful restrooms. The beach is right on the doorstep. We only wanted to stay one day, but ended up staying three. Highly recommended.

We spent 11 relaxing and eventful days at this beautiful campsite. Friendly staff, and everything from reservation to departure was smooth and professional. We felt very comfortable and this certainly won't be our last visit.

We were there for the first time in 2024 and enjoyed it so much that we returned in June of this year. We were not disappointed; it was a wonderful site, very well maintained, and the restrooms were clean. The access to the lake right next to the campsite was absolutely fantastic and highly recommended.
We'll definitely be back.

Small, well-maintained family campsite. Everything appears tidy and well-maintained. The restrooms are well-maintained. There is a separate restroom area for children and toddlers. Next to the reception is the "Lagobar" with a small shop for daily needs. The terrace is beautifully designed. The evening entertainment also takes place here. Access to the campsite is somewhat narrow.
The pitches are sufficiently large. Satellite reception is guaranteed on most pitches.
The pitches do not have freshwater or wastewater connections. There are two playgrounds. Unfortunately, the black safety tiles get so hot in the sun that there is a risk of burns. Therefore, use is only possible in the morning or evening when the sun is shining.
The campsite offers direct access to the lake. There is a stand-up board rental service.
The village of Maccagno is beautiful to look at, but doesn't have much to offer. There is a well-stocked grocery store in the village.
The ferry dock for Luino and Cannobio is just a few minutes' walk away.
If you are looking for a small, well-maintained and rather quiet campsite, this is the place for you.

I stayed at the Lagocamp campsite and it was really nice. From the site, you have a beautiful view of the mountains, the sunset, and the lake. The site is planted with trees, which is very pleasant on hot days.
It is the cleanest and most modern facility I've ever been to. The Italian music, which makes showering or washing up more pleasant, is particularly nice.
There's a small shop with the basics, a bar with drinks, draft beer, cappuccinos, snacks, and pizzas. You can also pre-order fresh rolls for breakfast.
Nearby – just across the river – is the public beach Park Giona with a bar where you can eat and drink well. A supermarket is just an 11-minute walk away, and across the street is a bakery with delicious iced coffee.
The staff at the campsite are very friendly. The gate is closed at night, which made us feel safe.
We will definitely be back!

Dear Lagocamp team, it was a wonderful stay with you again!!!
As always, we can highly recommend the site; your friendliness and helpfulness are simply top-notch.
The site and the restrooms were clean and inviting, as always.
The direct location on the lake completes the overall package wonderfully.
Keep up the good work! We'd love to come back 🙂. Best regards, Marcus and Andrea

This was our first time at Lake Maggiore. We got the tip about Lagocamp from Facebook. We arrived with two couples in a motorhome – we also had two dogs. We arrived early and were able to access the site without any bureaucracy as soon as our pitches became available. Thank you so much for that! That's not the case everywhere. The paths are a bit cramped and you need to be able to maneuver. But there's always a fellow camper there to help. We had pitches 118 and 119. That worked out perfectly. We quickly put up a small dog fence and a relaxing holiday could begin. Everyone is welcome here: adults, children and dogs. The campsite team is super friendly and always helpful. The campsite is locked between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. and can only be opened with a code. Big praise for the security. Restroom facilities, chemical dumping and dog washing area – all top notch. The beach is right on the doorstep. The boat dock is a 5-minute walk away. A well-stocked supermarket is in town. Prices are just like at home. The site itself has a kiosk with essentials, a bar, ice cream, and a bread roll delivery service. We felt completely at home and will definitely return. Thank you for this wonderful vacation.
