For a brief moment, I thought this place might be suitable for us... However, at €1.50 per kilowatt-hour, it's uninteresting. I don't even pay that much at our overpriced campsites in Switzerland. Bye bye

This campsite on Lake Maggiore absolutely delighted us. The location is simply unbeatable – just steps from the lake. Dogs are welcome (please check the website for the dates!). From our pitch, we had a fantastic view and could enjoy the sunrise over the water every morning. The campsite facilities are excellent: modern showers, always clean toilets, and even a small restaurant with delicious Italian dishes. What we particularly liked was the peaceful atmosphere, which makes the campsite an ideal place to relax, as well as its proximity to towns like Stresa, which can be reached in a short time. Perfect for anyone who wants to combine nature, tranquility, and comfort. A definite favorite for us!

A fantastic, small, and charming campsite right on the shores of Lake Maggiore. A super friendly welcome, very clean and modern sanitary facilities, and lovely pitches shaded by mature trees. I'll definitely be back.

A very quiet, small 3-star campsite right on Lake Maggiore. The friendly lady at the reception speaks fluent German. Everything was very straightforward. 16A electrical hookups are available at the pitches, but there are only a few water taps scattered throughout the site. The washrooms are very clean and appear to have been recently renovated.

We stayed at the campsite from October 15th to 17th. We had reserved a spot. However, since many other sites were available upon our arrival, we were allowed to choose another one. Very friendly welcome from Ms. Eckert and great service 👍😊 The location is perfect for us. Unfortunately, there are no boats leaving Maccagno anymore. But that's not the campsite's fault. The rolls weren't our taste, but the croissant was really good. Restrooms were always clean, and soap and toilet paper were available (not a given in Italy). We'd love to come back 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋

We were at this site in mid-October. Everything was wonderful, clean and friendly, very dog-friendly. There were always treats for our Mila, especially in the bar. Highly recommended!

We arrived at Lago Camp without a reservation, and it was beautiful. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a great spot. Dogs are very welcome. They can play in the water off-leash, away from the other swimmers. There's a fenced-in dog run with a poop bag dispenser and fresh water. The restrooms were super clean and well-maintained. The owners are friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Great campsite with a beautiful mountain backdrop right on the lakeshore. Great shoreline for walking. The restroom facilities are top-notch and modern! They also have a great children's restroom area. Electricity is billed as needed. The price-performance ratio is excellent. There is no proper restaurant, but there is a pizzeria within walking distance. The paths on the campsite are very narrow and not easy to navigate with a camper.

The small space is quite tight for maneuvering. The restrooms are good and super clean. The price for dogs in the off-season was €7.00 per day. For that, nothing is offered except a dog shower, no exercise area, and no poop bags. How they can advertise as "dog-friendly" is beyond me. Here, dogs are purely a business and more expensive than children, for whom more is offered. I would like to briefly answer your question about the dog tax in my municipality. It is around €130 per year. On the other hand, there are several dog parks with infrastructure, off-leash exercise areas, and countless poop bag dispensers with trash cans. If I stay at your site for a year, based only on the off-season price (365 x 7), the dog costs €2,555. Then I have to buy the poop bags and get NOTHING other than a shower. I find this a rip-off and a very one-sided business model.
