The pizza was delicious, even better! The pasta and fish were very fresh. The atmosphere was great, and the staff was excellent! Congratulations to everyone!

Excellent location overlooking the lake, with tables available both indoors (a bit noisy when busy) and outdoors, some under awnings or shade. Good, well-prepared dishes, including local specialties (whitefish), excellent pizzas that arrive super quickly. Prompt service is very friendly, as is all the staff.

We had a calzone which was tasty and the swordfish ravioli and was a bit fishier than one would’ve liked. Good portions.

I had the Ravioli with cheese and sausage. It was more like minced meat. With a yoghurt on the base. This came with bread and they also replaced the bowl of bread. It was nice to have but perhaps the bread was given to fill you up, as the portion of pasta was not the biggest. I had a latte, a sprite and the ravioli for €27. Service was quick and friendly. I did not have to wait long for my food.

Il posto è molto carino con accesso diretto al lago e belle vetrate con vista lago. Il personale è gentilissimo, soprattutto ci ha servito un ragazzo nigeriano Destiny, bravo. Purtroppo la pizza è uno delle peggiori che abbia mai mangiato. La pasta ha 2 mm e non si sente neanche. Sembra che mangi la mozzarella di scarsa qualità. La pasta si stacca dalla mozzarella. Posto foto per rendere meglio. Cosa ci vuole per far crescere bene impasto ? E aggiungere un po' di più di farina? Oppure usano la pasta congelata già pronta ? Orribile. I prezzi più che onesti per essere sul lago di Como. Ma non ci torno per la qualità della pizza. Peccato.

22/09/2025: We didn’t stay at the hotel but had an amazing lunch while exploring Varenna, the food and the stuff are lovely and we enjoyed it a lot!!!
25/06/2025: We stayed here for three days before our wedding in Lake Como and I LOVED our stay at Hotel Royal Victoria. The best thing about this hotel was the staff (HUGE shoutout to Marco the concierge for walking me to a restaurant to get reservations and my bartender pictured below). They went above and beyond for us. The rooms were a bit small, but the view from the balcony was unbelievable (pictured drinking wine on below). The pool and restaurants are excellent. Would definitely come back. They also have a private boat dock for private boat trips around the lake. So beautiful here!
