I would say incredible experience. Let's start from the place: welcoming, simple, an "elegant tavern". Functional, which understands the difficulties of the place, granting the comforts of a home but at the same time serving you and making you feel present in an extremely welcoming world. The first courses, I highly recommend the ravioli, are aesthetically stunning and manage to fully surprise and satisfy, without disappointing, the palate. The second, I recommend scamorza with mushrooms, light but peculiar, the consistency is peculiar, both in appearance and in the consistency mentioned above, it is reminiscent of a pancake! The Aglianico wine is very pressing, sour, with that surprising mountain flavour. The meat is excellent, it "melts in your mouth". I give 4 stars because in the appetizer, between mozzarella and vegetables, and in the bread you can feel the presence of "pre-cooked/frozen" (I absolutely don't want to criticize in a negative way, understandable indeed giving the presence of the place), furthermore some cured meats were not well decorated. The dairy products and compotes on the other hand were frighteningly beautiful, it wasn't simple at all, on the contrary, it was peculiar and refined.

I would give 10 stars!!!! We stayed overnight full board; everything was perfect starting from everyone's hospitality and kindness!!! Warm and clean rooms, with a beautiful view, very comfortable shared lounge. We felt at home EXCELLENT food!!! From first courses to meat... Exceptional breakfast served! We will definitely be back!!!

È stato davvero un bel weekend , il personale è stato molto gentile e cortese ,le camere sono un po’ datate ma per qualche notte vanno più che bene … Il cibo era moltooo buono ,e i dolci deliziosi grazie 🙏🏻

Sono stata a pranzo in questo ristorante con il mio fidanzato.. abbiamo preso antipasto salumi e formaggi buoni, solo la mozzarella bocciata in Quanto fredda di frigorifero.poi direttamente secondo maiale in salsa rosa discreto come anche la scamorza alla piastra con funghi. Per contorno polenta con funghì buona solo che galleggiava nell olio.. servizio molto lento personale gentile e simpatico 😀

20/10/2024: All good, especially the folklore entertainment group, the walk with aperitif and chestnut picking was splendid. I expected a little more from the menu considering the great wealth of raw materials in the area.
14/10/2024: A Sunday, without a reservation and with the place packed. We are greeted by a young waiter who, when we say "we haven't booked", asks us to wait and goes to call the owner. Giuseppe arrives and, after informing us that he doesn't even have a chair and when we say "we can also sit on the wall with the plates on our laps" he beckons us to wait. In no time at all he organizes a table for us consisting of the surface on which they knead the flour for the tagliatelle, placed on plastic boxes which they use at the end of the day to clear the tables. The bread, water, cutlery and two appetizers arrive immediately (the cured meats and cheeses are excellent) followed by a crock with polenta and caciocavallo and mushroom fondue and another with turnips and potatoes with croutons. VERY GOOD. After a while the gnocchi with chestnuts arrive, followed by tagliatelle with pumpkin which deserve the "slipper" with very fresh and tasty bread. The second is a slice of porchetta with salad and baked potatoes. Last but not least comes the dessert and the coffee. Therefore, everything we ate met our expectations but what struck us most was the availability and courtesy with which everyone asked us if we were comfortable, given the makeshift table which we however greatly appreciated and which brought us to the attention of the other guests with related exchanges of words. WELL GOOD EVERYONE. We will return for sure.
