Owner/chef spoke no Englis h but WhatsApp and Google Translate let us get reservation and an excellent dinner. The walnut ravioli and gnocchi were excellent and beef dish was superb. Highly recommend

We were greeted by a very kind and helpful gentleman. We tasted traditional truffle-based dishes and meat-based main courses. Everything excellent and well cooked. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

A welcoming restaurant with a family atmosphere that will amaze you pleasantly: you eat very well! Excellent service and refined and at the same time genuine dishes. Chef Antonello delighted us with his delicacies, carefully prepared, let him do it, he won't disappoint you. The first courses are my favourites, all based on fresh pasta rigorously seasoned with fresh seasonal raw materials of excellent quality. I really appreciated the tagliolini with pistachio pesto, with anchovies and courgettes and the tacconelli with pumpkin and radicchio, seasoned to perfection. The fillet with Montepulciano is also excellent, accompanied by a generous plate of hand-cut Avezzano potato chips (delicious!). The dishes change continuously, according to the chef's imagination and seasonality, the portions are generous and abundant; it is much more than a simple inn, a real starred restaurant! We will be back soon!

30/04/2025: Favoloso pranzo di Pasqua, con piatti ben realizzati della vera tradizione abruzzese. Ottima organizzazione, anche se il locale era tutto prenotato con tavoli ben distanziati, il servizio è stato all'altezza, veloce, ben coordinato, con personale professionale e cordiale. Le n.6 portate non hanno sofferto, tutte servite ben calde e senza attese. Ci hanno servito il pane fatto in casa ben lievitato e l'ottima pizza fritta. Antipasto molto vario e ricco "La colazione di Pasqua" con ottimi prodotti locali: salame, salsiccia di carne e fegato, uovo sodo con agretti, fiadoncello, coratella al coccio e carciofi fritti dorati. Eccellente "Brodo di capretto in stracciatella di scarola. Due ottimi primi "Lasagna della tradizione con ragù di polpettine" e "Tagliatelle con carciofi, guanciale croccante e crema di pecorino dolce". Due fantastici secondi: "Spalletta d'Agnello del Parco alle erbe, rapestre saltate, patate al rosmarino" e il " Capretto cace e ove" Ottimo il "Semifreddo alla Colomba Pasquale"

Ristorante Cacio e Pepe da Massari

08/08/2025: Fantastic pizzas and arrosticini. The double-dough one is excellent, but not for the faint of heart... Let's just say two people eat well... with a pizza! The owner is incredibly friendly. We also tried the delivery service, and everything was perfect. Well done.
05/08/2025: I'm reviewing the restaurant. We returned with some friends after a visit to the Stiffe Caves. And once again, it didn't disappoint. I'm obviously talking about the restaurant, which delighted us with its truly high-quality products. I recommend the Massari appetizer, which is almost a full meal of local products (cheeses, cured meats, vegetables, etc.). The coratella and the other appetizer courses are delicious, but the truly delicious thing was the Massari cacio e pepe, which I assure you rivals and surpasses many of the ones they make in Rome. Thanks also to Emanuele and Nonna Ernestina, who add a touch of homeliness to the place. Well done. Recommended.
