Excellent restaurant. Collection of fine meats. High quality starters. Very good side dishes. Exceptional desserts. But above all an impeccable and passionate service. A real surprise. I didn't expect such a level. Located inside the park of the University of Chieti, therefore ideal for graduation lunches/dinners. Prices are above average but absolutely justified. I recommend it and I will definitely be back!

I had lunch at this restaurant with my husband and our 2 year old son. We were welcomed with kindness, professionalism and great availability. Halfway through the meal, with the dishes already served, due to our little one's whims, we decided to leave, so as not to further disturb the staff and other customers. With extreme understanding, they prepared everything for us to take away and even gave us a free bottle of wine. We found hospitality, courtesy and a sense of comfort that are never taken for granted and that we deeply appreciated. The food is excellent, made with high quality raw materials. The place is nice, clean and really welcoming. The staff are friendly, helpful and genuinely hospitable. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended. Thanks again, from the bottom of my heart

Pranzo veloce con colleghi dopo lavoro. Servizio di una professionalità encomiabile, materie prime di altissima qualità e maestria nella cucina nel condimento e negli impiattamenti… l unico rammarico aver avuto poco tempo e non aver potuto provare più portate. Abbiamo preso in quattro 3 primi (gnocco radicchio pancetta ecc ecc) DELIZIOSO ed un filetto di manzo cotto in maniera IMPECCABILE. 3 contorni una focaccia e 4 amari e caffè 105€… tornerò sicuramente nonostante la distanza che mi separa dal locale … FANTASTICO

Trattoria Taverna Teate

28/06/2025: Chieti is a quiet city in central Italy, a bit decadent in some places. The Teatini, on the other hand, have proven to be simple and very welcoming people. The Teatino menu is a nice mix of land and homemade pasta. Lots of flavors. The Teate is a nice place that has been appreciated for its service and good food. Very good. And the bill will leave you speechless W Chieti sleepy

21/07/2025: Il Melograno has nothing but good things to say: spacious and welcoming rooms, excellent and speedy service, but above all, a fantastic sagne e fasciule, as well as the other dishes, all worthy of the first course. Well done Gino, you're now a regular on our almost weekly menu. Giorgio Mancinelli. To amend what I've said, I must add that I was there most recently on June 2, 2025, and the service was, to say the least, disgusting: sagne e ceci, with fried sagne as hard as rocks, enough to break your teeth, as tasteless as dishwashing liquid. The grilled lamb was dried out, as hard as shoe soles, and barely warm. Both factors led me to believe that they hadn't been cooked fresh, but were leftovers from the previous day, Sunday, when, according to the owner, they had a slew of customers, both for lunch and dinner. Now, unlike before, I sincerely advise against it, because this could happen to you too. Sincerely!
