Absolutely must try! The flavor of the fish is delicious and cooked to perfection, without the use of too many condiments that could camouflage the flavours. Abundant quantities and very honest prices. Super friendly and very nice owners. Truly a discovery! We'll be back soon!

Una vera sorpresa! Trovandoci nella bellissima città dell'Aquila, abbiamo cercato su Google maps un ristorante di pesce nelle vicinanze, subito fuori città." Lo scoglio" ci ha subito sorpresi! Entrando abbiamo trovato un ambiente molto curato e pulito. Tavoli ben apparecchiati e cordialità nell 'accoglienza da parte dei proprietari. Menù ricco di proposte a base di pesce.. Tantissime! Abbiamo provato antipasto della casa che ci ha preso per la "gola". Tre portate calde e fredde, compreso un ottimo soute di cozze, vongole e gamberi, tutto molto fresco. I primi di pesce fantastici, preparati con "Amore". I secondi ugualmente ottimi, capaci di soddisfare i palati più esigenti. ORATE FRESCHE con patate al forno magnifiche! Spigola in crosta di sale eccellente, profumata condita con un filo di olio extra vergine di oliva ! Frittura di pesce tenerissima asciutta priva di residui di olio. Una freschissima insalata di rughetta e arancia, abbondante e saporita, ha accompagnato il pesce! Per finire in bellezza abbiamo provato due particolari specialità siciliane :la cassata e il cannolo. Una sublime sensazione! Prodotti di qualità, preparati con cura e passione, cordialità e calore umano hanno contribuito a rendere questa esperienza veramente speciale. Prezzi onestissimi! Io consiglio vivamente di andare in questo ristorante almeno una volta :sono sicura che tornerete! A presto!

A real surprise! Finding ourselves in the beautiful city of L'Aquila, we searched on Google maps for a fish restaurant nearby, just outside the city. "Lo scoglio" immediately surprised us! Upon entering we found a very nice and clean environment. Well set tables and friendly welcome from the owners. Menu full of fish-based options.. Lots! We tried the house appetizer which took us by the "gluttony". Three hot and cold courses, including an excellent soute of mussels, clams and prawns, all very fresh. Fantastic fish first courses, prepared with "Amore". The second courses are equally excellent, capable of satisfying the most demanding palates. FRESH BIRDS with magnificent baked potatoes! Excellent salt crusted sea bass, fragrant seasoned with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil! Very tender, dry fried fish with no oil residues. A very fresh salad of rocket and orange, abundant and tasty, accompanied the fish! To finish on a high note we tried two particular Sicilian specialties: cassata and cannoli. A sublime sensation! Quality products, prepared with care and passion, friendliness and human warmth contributed to making this experience truly special. Very honest prices! I highly recommend going to this restaurant at least once: I'm sure you'll come back! See you soon!

Friendliness, friendliness, excellent food of excellent quality. You don't need to go to the seaside to eat good fish, just sit on the rock.

Courteous and efficient staff, warm and welcoming environment with the majority of local customers. Honest Q/P, a note for the sea bass baked in foil, meat that is not compact and not very tasty, certainly farmed and not very fresh. But for New Year's Eve it was more than acceptable with bubbles offered by the house for the final toast. PS: the Pecorino is excellent, not included in the menu as normal, but the price of the house wine 🍷 is honest at €8/lt. We will certainly return in less popular periods.

È raro trovare un ristorante di pesce che quando mangi senti il vero sapore di pesce e di mare non coperto da spezie bravi soddisfatto e un plauso al servizio cordiali e con il sorriso sempre pronto soddisfatto tornerò volentieri Bravi
