Ristorante L'Esca In San severo

I've been coming to this restaurant for ages. This is the right place when you want to make a great impression if you propose it to friends for a carefree dinner or collaborators for a business lunch. The excellent cuisine is undoubtedly their strong point, then if you add the careful selection of wines (there are always new ones) and the unfailing care towards the customer then you really are in the perfect place. The environment and the service are extremely convivial, you immediately feel at ease. I have no doubts, for me L'Esca is the best of all!

A unique experience. Absolutely incredible raw food, excellent starters, delicious first courses, too bad we were full from the second courses. Excellent wine and impeccable service.

Esperienza ottima in questo bellissimo locale ricavato da una grotta. Ottimo pesce fresco e ben presentato. Poker di cruditè favoloso. Chitarrina allo scoglio e fritto di calamari: piatti fatti con “amore” e pesce freschissimo. Servizio eccellente e prezzi onestissimi. Bravi

Discovered thanks to the fork app and a discount I had available... Definitely an excellent discovery! Well-kept interiors and welcoming environment. The waitress who served us was also responsible for preparing and cleaning the raw seafood. Raw seafood that I can only define as excellent! Extraordinary cockles, oysters, cicadas and red prawns. I also had a plate of hot seafood appetizers. The octopus drowned in a vegetable caponata and the red turnip crepe are amazing. First the chitarrina with squid ink with bottarga and stracciatella and the chitarrina with burrata, lime and red prawns... what can I say... Delicious! Mediterranean-style cod and fried second course, finally home-made tiramisu. Really... Nothing to complain about. The D'Araprì rosé bubbles are also excellent. Fair price for the quality of the raw materials and the service. Excellent with the fork discount and the owner also gave us an additional 6 euro discount on the final bill! Super recommended if you want quality fish.
