Delicious Tyrolean cuisine Attentive service Beautiful view After a year: The kitchen hasn't improved. Most notably, it's very unpleasant: dogs are allowed. This leads to many guests with dogs. Disturbing and unhygienic.

A wonderful experience. Excellent and refined menu featuring traditional local dishes reimagined with an innovative twist. The staff is young, helpful, and very professional. The location is furnished in a simple yet elegant style. Beautiful stube (traditional dining room) and a breathtaking view. Recommended for those seeking a different experience from the typical tourist venues.

Exquisite food, a fantastic wine list, and attentive, personal service. What more could you ask for? And the view over the Merano Valley... We'll be back and highly recommend stopping here!

A dream, especially in good weather. Sit outside with a view of Merano, and the food is a feast for the eyes. Great dishes from a small menu are served by a dedicated, very young team.

So far, I can only recommend the ice cream van. They always have a different variety of ice cream, all super delicious, and you can take it with you right on the Waalweg—it couldn't be better. Many thanks also to the lovely lady who sold us ice cream at the last minute today, despite finishing work. You made us very happy. Thank you so much.

Beautiful place to stop for a break among apple orchards and vineyards.

I invited my family here for my 60th birthday, and everyone was absolutely delighted! The Schlutzkrapfen (shrimp doughnuts) were so delicious, we ordered more. You can sit beautifully under a pergola with a view of the Waalweg (Waal Trail) or in the subtly modern and stylishly Alpine-style interior. Thank you!

We discovered the restaurant while hiking along the Waalweg (Waal Trail) in Algund. We then decided to enjoy dinner there the next day. We arrived at 5:30 PM without a reservation and were warmly welcomed in an already packed restaurant. The waitress gave us a table on the balcony (the nicest spot in the restaurant), according to the manager. 😉 We had to be ready by 8:00 PM, though. With two children, that wasn't a problem. The four waiters and/or temporary staff were all excellent. Friendly, competent, and accommodating. The food was top-notch and incredibly delicious. I had the tartare to start with, followed by the veal fillet. Amazing! All the other dishes and desserts were also exceptionally good. Top-notch - 11/10 points.
