We've enjoyed coming here for decades when we hike the Waslwrg. The restaurant has become more modern, but is still nice and cozy.

We arrived in South Tyrol in the evening and set off along the beautiful Waalweg towards Algund and arrived at the ladder and were treated to food, views and kindness. Thank you very much 🤩

I recommend the dishes Wienerschnitzel with fried potatoes and lasagna. There are also delicious drinks, such as elderflower spritzer and raspberry spritzer. The service was very friendly. I can only recommend this inn.

06/04/2025: A very beautiful, old hut with great food. Friendly staff. It has an outdoor playground and offers a great view from giant deck chairs.

Restaurant Torgglerhof

19/05/2025: Tucked away behind the Hirzer cable car exit is perhaps the most beautiful beer and coffee garden in the entire region. Live music, dogs are welcome, and everything is catered for, whether you prefer shade or sun. The cake selection is extensive, as is the selection of beers and homemade products, such as cider. We always stop here before or after a walk along the Waalweg (Waal Path) and are always very satisfied. The local ice cream is also a must!
18/05/2025: Beautiful setting with tasty dishes. Good service, very attentive by the young owner. The only flaw is the choice of desserts, I expected something more special. In any case, I would gladly return. I highly recommend it.
