Discovered by chance during our trip to Champoluc, the welcome we received was very friendly. Family restaurant, beautiful menu and very affordable prices. The service is provided in part by the mother and daughter. Quality and quantity are there. Don't hesitate to make a detour to Antagnod on your way back from Champoluc. You won't be disappointed. This restaurant is highly recommended! It definitely deserves 5 stars after enjoying an excellent meal today. In addition, the interior is very beautiful and a family collection of clog-making tools is on display. 👍👍👍👌👌👌

The restaurant is furnished in typical mountain style. Excellent traditional dishes cooked in an excellent way. You can feel and see the family atmosphere. Courteous and fast service. Good value for money.

Nice experience at Sabot. Typical and super relaxing environment. Very kind staff and good Aosta Valley food. Everything perfect. We would have liked to do a double but the second time it was full. Let's go back!

Homely environment in Champoluc. Welcoming and precise service. The starter of cold cuts and cheeses was very good. The Aosta Valley crepes are absolutely worth trying and the pappardelle with hare ragout is also very good. Final positive note: at the end of April one of the few restaurants open in the area. We will be back!

★★★★★ 5 stars We had dinner this evening at the Le Sabot Restaurant, located just 2.6 km from the center of Champoluc. We ordered pappardelle with hare ragù, a Valle d'Aosta and a platter of typical local cheeses. We were impressed by the homemade cuisine, full of authentic flavours, and by the owner's welcome, kind and thoughtful. An experience that we recommend to those seeking tradition and warmth.

Excellent place, with lots of parking spaces and buses The service very fast The order was quick, after 10 minutes they had already brought the starter of cheeses and cured meats The lady was very friendly, she cared if we liked what she brought us We had a starter for 2 and 2 first courses, a small bottle of local wine and a bitter made by them....total €50 All very good Advised!

It was my husband and I for the first time. We were very satisfied, super friendly staff, good food and I was impressed by the bathroom, I have never seen such a clean and fragrant bathroom before. Very good food… I highly recommend it…

Bel posticino. Tipico di montagna. Personale molto cardiali e disponibile. Prezzi giusti. Porzioni corrette. Qualità del cibo ottima. La posizione è un pò decentrata ma cmq molto comodo da raggiungere con un bel parcheggio esterno. Se capita, ci torneremo sicuramente.

Ambiente familiare, cibo classico della tradizione, personale estremamente cordiale e disponibile. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo ed era tutto veramente buono ed abbondante, super consigliato.

25/06/2025: Before talking about the hotel or the place I would like to spend a few words to thank all the staff, always smiling, kind and helpful, especially the girl at the reception who will forgive me if I don't remember the name but her smile and friendliness but at the same time the professionalism deserves our thanks, for the rest what can I say, well-kept hotel, clean, excellent breakfast and dinner, hotel in a convenient position for excursions and with a view of both the lake and the mountains that is nothing short of heavenly.

03/06/2025: Purtroppo questa volta hanno toppato. Ho scelto questo ristorante perché lo reputo fra i migliori in zona e lo frequeto volentieri non solo per il buon cibo la anche per la gentilezza del servizio e la posizione. Il menù è prettamente valdostano. Fra i piatti tradizionali io scelgo sempre quelli basici ed in particolare la zuppa valtellinese che qui ho sempre trovato buona. Questa volta però sono rimasto deluso in quanto se pur gli ingredienti c'erano mancava completamente il brodo. Così la zuppa era un mappazzone asciutto, da mangiarsi con la forchetta e poco piacevole. Fatto presente al cameriere, mi riferiva dalla cucina che il problema era derivanto dal diverso pane utilizzato che avrebbe assorbito il brodo.....beh, non mi sembra una buona giustificazione e sarebbe bastato ritirarmi il piatto, aggiungere un po' di brodo caldo e tutto risolto. Così non è stato ed il sono rimasto con il mio deludente mappazzone. Fra le altre portate una tagliata non era granché....carne un pò dura; lo Spezzatino così così. Buone ed abbondanti le tagliatelle al ragù, buono il lardo sul tagliere. Abbiamo anche bevuto un buon vino locale consigliato dal gestore sommelier. Buono il servizio, prezzi nella media, peccato per quella zuppa. Spero di ritrovarla buona la prossima volta.
