Ristorante Le Origini In L'aquila

I was in Bominaco to visit the two churches. I then took a lunch break and just managed to get the last seat at the restaurant. It was a lovely, authentic experience, with excellent regional dishes, all freshly prepared and handmade. You can also buy regional products at the restaurant. After consulting with the owner, I purchased a bottle of organic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. A poem! The service was also excellent, friendly, and fast. I highly recommend the restaurant.

A restaurant just steps from the Buminaco monastery complex, this elegant and welcoming restaurant boasts a friendly staff and a menu featuring dishes using local ingredients, such as saffron, local herbs, and more. The saffron tortelli and vegetable meatballs are delicious.

I've been to this restaurant twice before and had very good first and second courses with meat. Last night we had pizzas, topped with local ingredients, which were also truly top-notch, definitely above average. Crispy, light, and flavorful. Congratulations!

Pleasant location, close to a beautiful historical site (the Oratory of San Pellegrino and the Church of Santa Maria Assunta). The food was average and the service was a bit distracted. The price was fair.

We stopped here after visiting the two churches a few meters away and the castle. We hadn't booked. They didn't mind our dog being with us (we preferred to sit outside so as not to disturb other diners). We had the dish of the day, which was very good. Beautifully presented and with a good flavor. I tried the Bavarian cream: delicious. Unfortunately, pizza was only available in the evening (I had already had my eye on something special). Friendly staff and fast service. A must try if you're in the area.

What can I say: a real grandmother in the kitchen, like those of the past, and with dishes... it feels like being at home!!!

Passing through years ago, we stopped for dinner. It was an excellent experience in every way: the welcome, the service, the food, the location, and the price. We'll return if we're in the area. Recommended restaurant.

It took 40 minutes to order and my fork was dirty as soon as we got to the table (which was promptly replaced), but then they made up for it with good food. Between one course and the next, things definitely changed for the better. The place is old-fashioned inside and out, the parking is convenient and free in front of the place, the waiters are courteous and kind. I'd recommend trying it again when there are fewer people, maybe not on Sundays!

Excellent restaurant near the prestigious Oratory of San Pellegrino. I had a local pasta dish with a delicious vegetable sauce, a stuffed rabbit dish for the main course, which was equally delicious, and for dessert, a semifreddo with a crunchy crust made with Sulmona sugared almonds. A first course, a second course, and a dessert shared with water and wine cost us €25 each. You can also buy the precious Navelli saffron. Excellent place.
