Ristorante Le Meraviglie In Camaiore

We were served by a very nice girl, attentive and quick. The Tuscan appetizer platter is good for two, maybe even three people, depending on how hungry you are and what you want to eat. For our second course, we had pizza (2/3 of which we ate) and lasagna and salmon pasta (the boys, of course, devoured the whole thing—pasta freaks). Everything was delicious! If there were any complaints, it might be that the olive variety was too small and the pits too large.

We had dinner with family tonight. Excellent dinner! The dishes were impeccably explained by Cesare, the owner, who put the guests at ease and served us an excellent local wine (Nicodemo). The portions were generous and delicious. Top notch!

We are very grateful to this wonderful and cozy restaurant, as well as its staff for good service and kindness. These people really care about customers. They literally saved us, because we live nearby in the mountains and do not always have time or energy to cook at home)) Their food is very tasty, especially calzone and panzerotti. We highly recommend visiting. I would also like to note that the noise level in Italian establishments is usually high and uncomfortable because of the music, it is very loud, but in this restaurant it is perfectly matched, and also very quiet, you can really relax. Thanks to the entire staff of the restaurant, you do wonderful things.

What a fitting name for this restaurant! We celebrated Ferragosto with the whole family, choosing a standard menu for everyone, including appetizers, four first courses, two second courses, dessert, and coffee. We spent the right amount (even a little, I'd say, considering the quantity...), and the quality of every course far exceeded our expectations. Everything was plentiful and delicious, and the service was quick and attentive. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back.

Local cuisine, simple dishes with excellent value. Try it...several times.

I came here with my friend Nightfox, and for the company alone, it deserves 5 stars...that guy is a great guy (a legend). Anyway, the food is excellent, the waiters are kind and smiling, and the atmosphere is amazing.

After a great adventure, we headed to this restaurant, guided by locals and glowing reviews. Our Piedmontese palates, however, didn't find what they deserved. The dishes were bland, and the pizza wasn't exactly pizza, but the appetizers were a real highlight, and they were genuinely good. The service was good overall, but as Chef Barbieri says, a menu is a must! To be provided.

Ho il piacere di fare una recensione da cliente abituale e non legata soltanto alla estemporaneità di un pranzo o di una cena…Perché vengo qua spesso? Perché ritrovo la continuità di una gestione affidabile di lunga tradizione che non cambia nell’arco del tempo. Trovo cordialità , cortesia e velocità nel servizio anche nei momenti di affollamento, e garanzia di qualità del cibo, a cominciare dagli ingredienti, e con una cottura sempre eseguita senza errori al punto giusto . Il menù è rigorosamente di terra, fatta eccezione per il baccalà alla lucchese specialità della casa . Personalmente, alternando regolarmente questa location con quelle “di mare” di Viareggio o Lido di camaiore, Le Meraviglie è diventato il mio posto preferito: giudicando dall’affluenza sia di gente per lo più locale (sempre una garanzia) per pasti singoli o per festeggiare qualsiasi occasione familiare , ma anche di molti stranieri di passaggio, non posso che definirlo un ristorante di successo. Il mix di antipasti vari caldi e freddi della casa è ampio e gustoso… ma se non si vuole esagerare e passare direttamente ai primi piatti c’è ampia scelta….Personalmente la mia preferenza va ai tordelli camaioresi… Mi confesso. “tordello dipendente”: la loro preparazione artigianale abbinata a un ragù fatto a regola d’arte sono secondo me una eccellenza…. Ma non da meno lo sono risotto ai funghi, ravioli e pappardelle al cinghiale per citarne alcuni… ovviamente dipende dai gusti. Tra i secondi la qualità della carne costituisce il valore aggiunto: del filetto alla griglia o talvolta al pepe verde o della tagliata di manzo, notevoli anche per la cottura prescelta che è sempre perfetta … ma il maialino arrosto o lo stinco al forno cotto asciutto e disossato, ed entrambi con contorno di patate arrosto, che poche volte si trovano così buone, sono una validissima alternativa . I funghi? Sono un discorso a parte: in stagione li abbiamo sempre trovati belli di aspetto e saporiti , cosa non facile…, fritti per contorno o con una cappella sul filetto di manzo. Ma fuori stagione il fritto di funghi “Portobello” per chi non li ha mai provati sarà sicuramente una gradevole sorpresa. Alla fine … chi ha spazio ancora per il dessert trova sicuramente di che scegliere. La spesa mi lascia sempre soddisfatto per il rapporto prezzo/qualità assolutamente favorevole e la sicurezza di voler ritornare presto….

Tavolata di 20, quindi non facile gestione. Lui bravissimo, tipico toscano padrone di casa quasi intrattenitore! Assaggio di tutto, menù quasi da matrimonio… e per soli 35€ a testa! Consigliato per venirci dalla Versilia… da rifare!!
