The place's specialty is the carob mushroom: I believe it's the only restaurant where you can enjoy it, whether served with pizza, pasta, or simply as a soup. If you like mushrooms, this place won't disappoint. The pizza dough is also good and very light. The price is relatively high (precisely because of the carob mushroom): if I remember correctly, both the pizza and the pasta (with mushrooms) cost around €25. Unfortunately, it's located in an area that's far from everything, but once a year, especially in late summer, it's worth it.

I've dined at this beautiful restaurant several times. Last night, I was reassured by the beauty of the place and the wonderful gastronomic experience. The staff is extremely kind and completely available to all diners. They are always ready to accommodate any needs. They pay the utmost attention to food intolerances and allergies. The pizzas are delicious and extraordinary. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and the pizza dough is excellent, as if it were freshly made. A truly special and moving gastronomic experience. I recommend everyone to dine at this beautiful restaurant. The idea of having outdoor seating is also very inspiring. I can't wait to return to sample the delicious specialties of this accommodation. My overall rating is a fantastic A+. My heartfelt congratulations to all the staff. I sincerely thank everyone for their availability and for their attention, including to the issue of disability.

Adjacent to a large and busy square, a few tables act as a border.
The signature dish, which doesn't disappoint, is the bowl of carob mushrooms. Summer is the perfect season, and the flavor of the mushrooms, expertly cooked, is worth the drive to Frigintini. Also worth trying is the carob mushroom pizza. Excellent.
I also had an excellent carob jelly, which was truly captivating.
I was, however, a bit disappointed by the pizza with ricotta, fresh sausage, and capuliato. There was barely any capuliato, and even the ricotta and sausage were decidedly sparse. A shame.

Invited by Antonio to leave the 40 degrees of Pozzallo, we sit at the prepared table with a cotton sweater over our shoulders. This alone makes me fall in love with the place and falling in love turns into love for the "mushroom" tasted for the first time in all possible ways.
It is a very tasty mushroom that grows in a clump on the trunk of carob trees
