Hotel located in the middle of a huge beech forest. From here you can do various activities without using the car such as walking through a beautiful, immense forest! You can also get to the summit of Amiata by chairlift. It was a holiday of just a few days but just as my partner and I had planned. The service was excellent, the food too. Everyone was kind and especially the legendary Franz who gave us all the information possible! Three truly unforgettable days, to be done every now and then to recharge and leave the stress at home!

Delightful hotel in an excellent position to reach, easily and in a few minutes, both the villages below and the summit of Mount Amiata. The room with balcony where we stayed, although small, is very welcoming, well furnished and very clean. For dinner, the hotel's beautiful restaurant allowed us to enjoy excellently prepared traditional Tuscan dishes accompanied by a good wine they produce. Good friendly and professional service. Breakfast, served in the same rooms, is also rich and plentiful The hotel also has a relaxation area where it is possible, among other things, to take a sauna and a bath in the hydromassage tub, to regenerate after a beautiful day of hiking in the mountains. Congratulations to the reception staff for the care and attention given to us and in particular to Franz, an inexhaustible source of news and precious advice. In conclusion, a delightful place that, as soon as you leave, makes you want to return as soon as possible.

Hotel with a traditional but well-kept feel, very clean and "efficient" (excellent wifi). Attention to guest needs, very good reception. Traditional flavors and healthy food. Risotto and pasta cooking point to be reviewed. Commendable wine list and variety. Breakfast good but could be improved. Special mention for the new apartments located outside the main structure (La Baita) but exceptionally well-kept and refined, equipped with every comfort, with an attention to detail and care that are rather rare in this category of the sector. Simple but clean rooms, very kind staff attentive to all details, we felt truly pampered. There is an internal playroom for children. It's really good at Macinaie!

it's always a pleasure to go and relax and recharge on Mount Amiata, then if you stay at "Le Macinaie" it's even more special.

Even though our stay was short, they welcomed us with kindness and courtesy. Really competent staff. The restaurant has excellent cuisine and breakfast, not a buffet, but very good. They also welcomed a Beagle who was traveling with us for a small fee. Stay to repeat. The hotel's location is excellent in both winter and summer

Being here was like living in a fairly tale! Everything was just perfect!! Great food experience... every single dish was made with care and enanched the taste of the local products. Staff was super kind... Enrico is a true gentleman and his family just lovely. Hotel has a great view on the area, rooms really nice and very clean. Spa equipped with jacuzzi, sauna and sun shower was marvellous!!! We'll definitely be back in autumn to admire the foliage!
