This used to be my favorite T-bone steak restaurant, but the T-bone steak this time was too thick, so it seemed overcooked and tasted worse than before. It didn't have the first-class feeling it used to have. I think they must have changed the owner or the chef.

We went there on our first evening, as soon as we arrived in Florence, by chance, and Chiara welcomed us warmly and kindly. We enjoyed an excellent appetizer of cheeses and jams, and finished with a pumpkin risotto and tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, both truly delicious. Chiara's friendliness and the refined menu made us want to return again. This time we also tried the desserts. They were truly excellent. A truly positive experience. I recommend it to everyone.

Welcoming atmosphere, high-quality food, well-presented, and exquisite dishes. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always available. We returned two nights in a row and it was always a delightful experience. Thank you, highly recommended! When we return to Florence, we'll definitely be back!

The food is amazing! The cold cuts and pasta platter are the best we've had in all of Italy. We also tried the risotto, which was spectacular. Jessica's attentiveness and friendliness warm the heart; she truly makes you feel at home. Thank you, Jessica!

The experience at Le Fonticine was amazing. All the employees were very friendly and made great suggestions for the dishes. The antipasto with cheese, ham, and jelly was excellent – all local and homemade products. The pappardelle was homemade and delicious, a very light dish. To finish, the chocolate dessert, which melts in your mouth, is definitely worth a try. Top Florentine Experience.

05/10/2025: First evening in San Casciano, looking for a typical Tuscan osteria. We relied on online reviews, but, likely due to poor menu choices, we didn't find what we were looking for here. The house appetizers were average, but not typically Tuscan. The Florentine steak was good, but not a real explosion of flavor. The price was high. The potatoes were delicious. The wine list was excellent. Welcoming and courteous service.
21/09/2025: This has been our favorite place since we moved to Florence! Impeccable traditional Tuscan cuisine in a quaint and picturesque location. The service is always very welcoming and attentive, with a family atmosphere. We return whenever we can. Congratulations to Marco, Silvia, and Cecilia for the hospitality and atmosphere they've created! Keep up the good work!!

23/09/2025: We loved our experience so much that we went back a second time. Niccolo's service was excellent; he speaks at least three languages: French, English, and of course, Italian. He knows the menu very well and is always able to advise us on this or that dish. Thank you very much for your welcome and hospitality.
