Ristorante Le Chat Noir "u jattu niuru" In Cefalù

Service takes a while...but it was also completely full...the food is great though, a bit away from the sea in the old town, but it's worth an evening!

Very nice place, in the center of Cefalù. Traditional cuisine: pasta with sardines is recommended! The main courses (especially the involtini) are less worthy, as they offer a poor quality-price ratio. The bill was steep due to the water (€3.50 for the 75cl sparkling wine) and the cover charge (an unjustified €2.50). Overall, I would return!

We wanted to like this place a lot more than we did. We went for dinner and we thought the servers were very nice. Our starter and our pasta was very good. However, that was overshadowed by organizational issues. We ordered drinks with our starter that didn't arrive, and after we asked for them they were brought with our pasta. Then the glass of wine that we ordered for the pasta never arrived. We ordered dessert, and waited for 30 minutes before asking a waiter about it. When they finally arrived they were, unfortunately, not worth the wait. The tiramisu was standard, and the semifredo that was described as coming with Modica chocolate sauce only had 3 small dabs.

We sat on the inside patio (with open roof). It was calm and not crowded with too many tables. We ordered the squid salad, which was just tangy enough, lovely. After that we had the involtini di pesce spada and the polpette di carne in sugo, both very tasty and beautifully presented. Wine selection and coffee is also great. All the people of the staff were very friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend it!

Excellent food and service. We came twice and were not disappointed! The wine is also very well chosen!

The couscous is absolutely delicious. I recommend it!

A vibrant and welcoming restaurant serving delicious Italian cuisine. Portions are on the smaller side, so ordering multiple courses or adding sides to the main dish is a good idea. As the restaurant was quite busy, we had to wait a little longer than usual for both the food and the bill. The service may not have been perfectly organized, but everyone was kind and attentive – and the food was so good that it more than made up for the wait.

Fuimos a 3 restaurantes brillantes en Cefalu. Esta fue probablemente mi comida favorita. El hotel (Kalura) nos lo recomendó. No nos decepcionaron. La terraza exterior está en un carril, así que pedimos moverse en el interior, que es mucho más elegante. Se sentía bastante rústico con paredes de piedra desnuda y cueva como con paredes / techos redondeados. Me encantó el aspecto y la sensación. La comida estaba deliciosa. Se sentía sin pretensiones y delicioso. Personal amable y un gran servicio. Es un restaurante de gestión familiar (nos encontramos con el chef papá y el hijo gerente). Aparentemente toda la familia está involucrada. Me encantó mi pasta de marisco y gambas segundo plato. La boca agua bien. Debería ser mucho más alto en el rating.

Lugar encantador, cocina creativa (las sardinas rellenas excepcional! ) , ambiente animado/cálido, excelente servicio.
