We had lunch in a welcoming restaurant with excellent service. The dishes were excellent, respecting tradition with a touch of modernity. The only drawback was the slightly higher-than-average prices.

Dined here for Sunday lunch while visiting Cisternino. The restaurant had a nice decor and atmosphere, which was enhanced by the fireplace. The host was very helpful and the food was delicious. I was impressed by the presentation of the Tiramisu. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if one is visiting Cisternino.

Le Capase A warm and welcoming atmosphere, made unique by the star-vaulted architecture and imposing fireplace. The menu offers a wide variety of carefully selected and local dishes, with special dietary requirements catered for. What are "forchetteinviaggio" (follow us on Instagram) doing in Cisternino? Reviewing steakhouses? Not yet... today we went to the Le Capase restaurant and pizzeria to review their pizza. Upon entering, the restaurant presents itself with its typical star-shaped stone vaults, very welcoming and well-kept. At the back of the room, a very imposing fireplace dominates and warms the hearts of everyone, and not just everyone. As soon as we were seated, we were immediately served by young staff who brought us menus and water, as well as an appetizer of friselline and a delicious spreadable cream. The menu is very varied. Since it's also a restaurant, there are obviously first and second courses, but we didn't really delve into them, as pizza was our goal for the evening. The pizza menu offers a good variety... our choices were buffalo mozzarella and the house pizza "Le Capase", a white pizza with fiordilatte, cherry tomatoes, capocollo, smoked cave caciocavallo, and honey. Very tasty, soft, light dough. Very good pizza, quality ingredients. Still not satisfied, we wanted to treat ourselves to one of the artisanal desserts on the menu... this one was also very good. Very attentive, polite, and never invasive service. Bill: €24 each for two pizzas, a generous portion of chips, one water, one medium beer, one Coke for dessert, and a limoncello... I'd say it was very good considering the amount of food. We recommend this place... Cisternino isn't just about bombette.

Excellent restaurant, welcoming place, excellent menu, we ate very well at lunch, in the evening they also make pizzas, kind and helpful staff, we will return.

The place is really nice, but the dishes were prepared by a lazy chef, without any technique, the price was really excessive for the dishes we had, precisely for the reason I gave previously.
