Excellent, elegant, and refined restaurant with several indoor dining rooms located in the heart of Genoa, near Porta Soprana and Piazza Matteotti.
My wife and I sat at a beautifully set indoor table and were brought a basket with excellent bread and focaccia.
We ordered:
mandilli al pesto
ravioli au tuccu, Genoese ravioli with meat sauce
mixed fried fish
sea bass with artichokes
lemon sorbet
We were very pleased with the excellent quality of the generous dishes and delicious goodies.
The staff were welcoming, smiling, competent, professional, friendly, and helpful. The service was attentive and one of the fastest I've ever had, and the prices were fair!

Very nice lunch at Santa Teresa, fresh and high quality products, the 2 ladies serving us were great. one other male waiter was not looking happy at all, but that's a detail. We recommend this place, and would definitely come back.

My partner and I visited Santa Teresa for dinner on a Monday evening in October, after finding it was featured in Michelin's Bib Gourmand list of restaurants for Genoa. First, the food - both my cod and my partner's gnocchi were very good, obviously freshly and carefully prepared by the chef (well done!), and the local white wine to go with the dishes was excellent too. When it comes to the service, our waitress was welcoming, but did not speak much English and seemed a bit distracted, also, when we got to the hotel I realised that we'd been charged extra for a coffee. Another thing to note is that the prices are over 30% higher than the surrounding restaurants and seeing that we paid 75 euros for just two mains, two glasses of wine, bottled water and a coffee (well - two coffees, one of which we didn't really have), we feel like the meal was not the best value for money and we wouldn't be in a hurry to return (even though we really enjoyed the food, especially the 'gnocchi scampi').

The service was excellent, with a stimulating menu and particularly interesting off-menu options. The value for money was good, with well-balanced dishes and a refined atmosphere. The only reservation was the location, which is slightly limited in space, but the overall experience was extremely positive.

Excellent seafood experience!! We had tagliolini with lobster (amazingly good!), a crudité, and finally the catch of the day. They recommended an excellent wine. The waiters were professional and friendly.

Tutto molto buono , si mangia molto bene.
La cosa che vi consiglierei sarebbe a stare attenti di quanta porzione mettete di sale nella pasta in generale, perché a volte potrebbe essere un pochino troppo.
La tagliata di carne che ho ordinato , era eccellente , per me non aveva difetti.

Locale accogliente nella suggestiva via di porta soprana. Menu interessante con richiami alla tradizione genovese. Dall’antipasto al dolce, tutto molto gradevole* e ben presentato.
*forse un po’ di sale di troppo, ma va “a gusti”.
Per quanto riguarda il servizio, non basta che sia svolto da gradevoli e disponibili giovani cameriere. Il mestiere del cameriere va insegnato, soprattutto se si aspira ad essere un ristorante di livello. Un esempio (negativo) su tutti, vedere la cameriera non fare due metri per mettere il piatto in tavola davanti all’ospite ma passarlo come in trattoria.
