The ambiance is dreamy. Right by the sea, beneath ancient walls and arches. The food is fresh, varied, and delicious. The value for money is more than reasonable for this quality. The service is excellent, with friendly staff and the owner (mother and son). All in all: a visit is definitely worth it!

It was simply fantastic. Excellent service, even in German, and the buffalo mozzarella and mussels were delicious. As were the wine and beer. Prices were absolutely reasonable.

September 9, 2025 We (a married couple) were there 7 years ago. It's still unique and romantic. The menu is individually written on a large blackboard. We each had grilled sea bream with fried potatoes and Italian beer, and for dessert, a dark cake with tiramisu and caramel filling. It was delicious. The price-performance ratio is fair (but not cheaper). We paid €100.00 in total. The landlady speaks German, and the service is friendly. Highly recommended. We will be back!

09/10/2023: Great location near both boat dock and train stop. Best pasta I’ve had in Italy this trip. Even though after 3 pm, we were seated. Hung out till next boat. Fabulous.
01/08/2023: Locale al centro della piazza di Vernazza. Posizione top. Un po’ troppo affollato per i nostri gusti, i tavoli erano davvero appiccicati. Primi piatti abbondanti e niente male. Prezzi nella norma per il posto.
